so every time there's a suggestion about adding new mobs, there's this type of players who say they are tired of new mobs, or say that each new mob should be different than the other.
i my self think that the game lacks mobs, i don't want to see the same mobs in all biomes, also atmospheric mobs (mobs without impact on gameplay) would be very cool, we already have bats and they made caves much more interesting, i think some birds or critters would make the overworld alive as well.
what do you think about new mobs? do you think what we have is enough? or its okay only if new mobs are unique? or its okay with any mob to be released?
I'm like you, for me things like birds, monkey, fish will be so cool. I think that new hostile mob available only in Hard mod would be cool, like for a more challenging game.

how about different AI for already existing mobs in hard mode?
I think a lot of players are just tired of seeing similar mobs that do the same thing with a minor tweak. We currently have 4 Zombies, 3 Skeletons, 2 Spiders, and a handful of other mobs. So the last thing a lot of people want is "a Zombie, but faster" or "a Skeleton, but it has more health". The same goes for passive mobs, a lot of people don't want a mob that behaves just like a cow but looks different or things like that.
I think people want variety, but want them to have real purpose too.

i don't consider the husk and the zombie villager as a whole new mob that isn't different than the other, the husk and the stray are too different than their original types, also they are meant to be a stronger version.
also, hostile mobs are meant to have impact on gameplay, so adding new hostile mobs with no new strategy is bad, but for the passive mobs, the diversity is only meant to be aesthetic.
for example, how about deer in forests instead of the silly cows on every biome, it would be nice if deer had a new item to give other than edible meat, but even if deer was added and it only gave meat or maybe leather too, its still nice because it isn't meant to add depth to the game, we already have pigs and they are quite useless, but they are nice aesthetically.
for me, minecraft as a wilderness game has bad mobs (cow, sheep, pig and chicken), it should have more difficult mobs such as deer or buffalos, but thats just my opinion
I broadly agree. Biome specific mobs have been introduced, with the Hust and Stray, but more biome specific mobs would be good. And lets face it, the roll out of anything really new in Minecraft takes years, so I would like to see Microsoft introduce a lot more to the game a lot quicker.
i hoped so, but sadly microsoft haven't interfered in the development ever, they only bought it to make Win10 edition and the hololens thingy.
minecraft is a very bright idea, but it took the wrong path, at least for me

how about some kind of cave creepers or treedents? minecraft is in lack of magic too. not?????
i think the best thing of minecraft is its uniqueness, the endermen and creepers are creative, i think other news should be the same
