So guys, because I want to make my channel grow on Youtube, I decided to make animations on Mine-imator because my computer lags out if I record on my screen. So I downloaded the .exe file here: http://www.stuffbydavid.com/mineimator
After it finished it's download, I clicked it twice and a pop-up appeared (Sorry, no image ... Microsoft seems to prevent screenshots on warning pop-ups). It said:
Do you want this app from an unknown publisher to make changes on your PC?
The name of the pop-up was "User Account Control". So is Mine-imator safe? Because I have this PC for like 3 years and I swear I don't want to lose this PC. If you had this problem before, what did you do?

I have returned after all these years and I'm internally dying inside whenever I think about the posts I've done prior to this current year. Just don't look at them.
It is perfectly fine, in fact, User Account control pop-ups appear every time you run something as an administrator (I believe, but it's still fine to install.)
Thanks! I installed it right now and scanned my PC. "No threat detected" they said. Now to start my first animation ... And if I ever encounter problems with it later, I will try to find the cause of the problem ... ^-^

Wait a minute, I am still suspicious about this app and now I just read this thing that says:
ad.focus is fine but Mine-imator has a .ddl in it that is called gzunzip.ddl it is produced when you run the program. It has Malware in it
Is this true or just a pure trick to make people stop downloading the app ...

Sounds like a load of crap to me. Mine imator is a perfectly fine application to use to make Minecraft animations. It's free, it's always being worked on and improved by David, and it's pretty easy to use. Now, there are some flaws still there. Mine-imator seems like a good "jumping off point" in the world of animation. Your computer is the ladder, and Mine-imator is the end of the diving board.
To put shortly, yeah. Mine-imator is fine. No malware, no stuff that will cause you problems.

Free applications may run ad sites to help generate money for the work so they can continue it being free. But software forcing ads on your pc maybe an issue and and any old malware scanner will not pick up adware you should. Mine-imator is fine application.
So you don't fine a fake one somewhere here is the link. It's a completely free application to help remove adware. Just in case you are having an issue.

The software is completely fine. I've never really trusted ad.focus because my real-time scanner tells me that there is malicious redirects on it, however I downloaded Mine-imator with the mirror link and there have never been any problems with it. happy animating!
