Does anyone know how to accurately forecast the weather in vanilla? I know it's generated randomly but there must be
some predictable aspect to rain/thunderstorms.
I've tried waiting numerous days without sleeping in a bed, and still nothing. It seems like certain seeds just don't have rain
at all. Which kind of stinks. I love rain fishing.

When it rains there will be between 12,000 and 24,000 ticks until the rain stops. Once it stops raining, it's 12,000 and 180,000 ticks until the next rainfall. It could take up to 2.5 realtime hours spent in-game before rain begins again.

ok awesome! Thanks for the info. Been digging around to see if there's an accurate way to forecast but near as I can tell
it's just a waiting game which is kind of a shame. Was hoping to find a way to actually forecast the weather but it seems
there's no reliable method. Guess its back to the hoppers
