The only biomes I absolutely hate are mesas. Every other biome I dislike has some redeeming quality; jungles are hell to navigate and build in but have a unique wood type and nice resources, I would never build a house in a roofed forest but I love the wood there, Extreme Hills are disgustingly ugly (moreso since 1.8) but at the very least have emerald ore... even swamps, which I have despised since their implementation (well, actually since they got the disgusting and rather unrealistic grass color in 1.0) and hated even more since 1.7, have my favorite flower type inside them. But mesas? Ugly clay bands that don't look good in the slightest, clashing contrasts with the grass and trees on top and the rest of the hardened clay, and since I never use hardened clay there's not even a good resource there for me to use. Ugh. And I have an odd tendency to spawn in them (I just gen a new world though).
I guess that for building it is good for blocks but useless otherwise

If you say plz because it's shorter than please, then I will say no because it is shorter than yes
I'd have to say ocean, just because boats just don't work well. If they would just kind of slide up onto the land a block (as long as you are going fast enough, but not too fast), so they didn't shoot off in a random direction after exiting, I'd love using them. On the plus side, ocean biomes are great for making mob farms.
I actually like roofed forests- well, not roofed forests per se, but I much prefer using dark oak over any other for general wood use. They are easy to harvest and generate tons of wood for the time it takes. Plus, they are useful for making a hole in the Nether's overhead bedrock. I always take time to find some relatively early and plant them near my base.
Why? The Desert biome is good for Desert Villages, Desert Temples, Sand, Cacti, Sandstone, and more.
The Mesa biome is great for Stained Clay, and it looks absolutely beautiful.
The biomes I abhorrence, dislike, loathe and hate are Ocean biomes and any biome with snow.
Some biomes are both good and bad at the same time, such as the following. Jungle: Incredibly difficult to navigate and impossible to build in unless you want a tree house, but it has Wood for weeks! Desert: No trees, meaning no wood, not too many caves, but it has Cacti for days and Sand for weeks. It also has cool looking Desert Temples with tons of great loot and also its own kind of Village. Plains: No trees, lack of caves and rouvines, but it has tons of space to build on and it has Flowers and Tall Grass, meaning Seeds, for days!
Don't forget the Jungle has temples, is rather scenic, has giant trees, and cocoa beans.

Why all the hate on snow biomes? They are a bit harder to grow things in but you can just place a block above the water you need to not turn to ice, so that is no problem. Snow biomes are very nice to look at and do have spruce wood (my favorite kind of wood) and they have plenty of caves. It may not be the best biome in terms of resources, but it is not the worst you can get.

Actually, I like almost any biome, all biomes are good for something so why have a least favorite biome at all?

I agree with you. Also, you can make farms underground, you don't have to farm them on land, which makes snowy biomes not really a problem. I live in a very snowy biome, and it's pretty good there.

Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
Rivers. In jungles (and most other biomes that aren't extreme hills) they make the grass that's NEAR THE WATER more dull. I still think that rivers should be separate from biome generation, but the "new" generator is not capable of that. Too bad there is not removal option for rivers in the custom generator.
The extreme hills. Formerly they had weird blueish grass; now they look all patchy and hideous with the new types of stone. I'm not sure which is worse.
Mesa is definitely the worst. They are the only biome that it's only use is purely cosmetic. Unless you want a clay floor or want to do other decorations, then you can't really do anything with it to be honest. They are useless and should be removed.

It's because Mesa's are useless for anything but decorations, if you saw my other post.

To all the people who hate Mesas, the stained clay is not only for cosmetics.
If you know how minecraft physics work, you would know some blocks have higher "blast resistance"
The stained clay has much more resistance against explosions than most of the building materials you use. Besides, they come in very many colors. The mesas are filled with those cool blocks.
I personally use them for making fortressses and bunkers, but also making military ships.
And to remain in topic, my least favorite is the lava lakes in the nether.
Sand biome. Practically I found the most annoying biome. If you spawn in a desert biome, you will have to look endlessly to find trees, and deserts can be vast. Not to mention at night, when monsters begin to spawn, you are practically vulnerable treading through a desert. You are basically surrounded by mobs where ever you go.
Mesa would not bother me if it had any animals. But the biome tends to be quite large so you have to walk forever just to find some livestock. Otherwise it's sordid existence of bread, bread, and more bread.

This would be more useful if cobblestone and the other stone-related blocks didn't have the exact same blast resistance as hardened clay. Not to mention that creepers rarely explode near houses anyway; it's pretty simple to lure an angry creeper away from your house.
If I end up building something without stone-related blocks, it's because of an aesthetic difference. Hardened clay does not suit well with my building style so I have little reason to use it. (Also, the lava lakes in the Nether are not their own biome.)

Gosh extreme hills and dark forests and mushroom islands are very bad also taigas, but if I had to choose it would be a extreme hills there so ugly.
Honestly, taigas should be removed from the game cause there so ugly. Extreme hills should be updated with their look.
My favorite biomes are jungle, Mesa and savanna. I also like plains
