It's a tie between the Roofed Forest & the Deep Ocean Biome. The Ocean Biomes are to large sometimes while the Roofed Forest is a pain to travel through.
Advantages (3): Three kinds of wood. Two of the woods drop apples. Always near plains (and thus potential for village)
Disadvantages (1): Dark cover for mobs.
The advantages have it. No other biome gives you this kind of variety.

I detest Extreme Hills with all my being. I don't know what anyone sees in them- Emeralds can be gotten by other means, especially with mods, they have silverfish, the grass is the same disgusting alien blue grass shared by the 'cold' biomes(at least those tend to have snow covering the ugliness, or in Ocean's case, is just water), the 'hills' are usually just blobs of rock and alien goopgrass, and the terrain, while sometimes beautiful, usually just looks like some giant tried to make a mountain, failed, gave up, and smashed it into the ground in anger. I guess it can be good for building some kinds of structures, but if I want a mountain, I MAKE my mountain.
I prefer using Amp terrain to get my natural mountains from OTHER biomes, like savannaaaas~
We are in total agreement. Silverfish are one of my least favorite mobs and Extreme hills biome is kind of bad if it is endless.
My least favorite apart from extreme hills is ice spikes biome, there are no trees whatsoever and in some mods you would freeze to death

While I don't necessarily hate Extreme Hills, I get really really annoyed when the game finally manages to generate a nice looking mountain, but then shoves an ugly hole in it. It's like really bad bursting boil. No way do I want to build near it.
IMO, the worst, but not bad, biome is the ocean. I generally like all of the biomes for different reasons, except for the ocean. I do not dislike it, I just don't see any advantages in finding an ocean.
No, the worst i think it's deep ocean, alongside the mesa, even through there you can get some ink sacs
Jungles i always get lost in them, because the trees are huge.

For me, I tend to dislike the desert. But also, it depends on the desert. There may be temples, but there are not many trees and they are very open and dangerous at night. Plains at least have more trees nearby and have more colors so that they are more visually appealing.

I know that it has been removed but it's a pain the generate them before Beta 1.8
but i don't hate them, i just... i just don't like them a lot...
