25. Gonna be 26 in July. I've been playing single player survival since 2012, and I absolutely love mods. I am really big on creating an economy and nation in Minecraft. Discovering and overcoming the various obstacles in the vanilla game for an economy to be feasible is my forte. I have been getting into multiplayer the past couple of days, and have already made three servers regular spots.
This used to be about a place for adult MC players to introduce ourself to the community and maybe make a friend or two. But the last few posts have just been about advertising a server. I thought we were a bit to mature for this kind of thing. Guess I was wrong.
Those posts have now been removed. People are free to recommend servers if asked, but they can't just create server advertisement posts in this thread.
Hello! I'm Josh and I turned 20 this February, I started playing minecraft forever ago so I basically spent the better part of my teens playing it. It got me interested in modding and programming, basically getting me interested in software engineering, which is now my major in college.
Outside of school I practice blacksmithing and metallurgy, which i started about two years ago. Its taken about that long to get all the equipment I need and im STILL collecting stuff.
I'm 16, but I often feel out of place and a bit too old around the majority of people on Minecraft servers, even sometimes people my own age. Online I'm usually hanging about in communities with a slightly older audience (18-25) so I feel I kinda fit in better around people who are a bit older. I'm still a huge fan of the game, though. I've been playing since early 2011. I'd love to join a server and play with some people who are slightly older and more mature than the average player as well, but If you honestly consider yourself mature and you're young, I'm perfectly happy playing with you too!
My Skype's [redacted] if anyone's interested. Just send me a request saying you come from the Minecraft Forums

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
46 here and have been playing MC since 2010 when my then-eight year old insisted it was a great game for me to buy him. He is now 14 and more into CoD and Ghosts, but plays once in a while to make mom happy. We started a realm about a year ago, and celebrated our 10,000 MC day last week...woot woot! Most of us are over 30 years old and its a great community of builders and explorers....and horse racers. We have a spot or two if someone is looking. Just send me a message.
35 here, been playing during the early days. Sadly all my guild mates (my age or older) have all moved on to single player or servers with their kids. And it's hard find a modded server that won't disappear in a few weeks or months. Sadly little free time or money to make my own server. So been playing on a FTB hermitpack server knowing it may very well disappear tomorrow and my project will disappear again.

I'm 39. Just really started playing a couple months ago.
I'm on PS4, and have no gaming friends. I'm more of a PC MMO type of player. Console is usually for single player games.
I really don't know how multiplayer works with MC on PS4. Looks like it's an invite only type thing. Which is probably for the best. I cannot imagine an actual open public world! Forget trying to build anything. Lol.
If there's any groups out there that have a survival world, where people build their own homes (and don't destroy others, I'd love to join up.
I'm 71 and when I'm playing Minecraft I consider myself a kid. lol
Hahahah that's quite Accurate! I guess that's how it happens - The younger ones feel older because of the nostalgia, yet the older ones feel younger as it brings them quite back to their childhood.

For me it's a great way to spend time with my grandkids on the family server. They live hundreds of miles away, but we can get together on the server and talk on Ventrilo while we play.
28 years old here, Ive been playing for about 3 years now and have never played vanilla Minecraft. For the first bit I designed modpacks and ran servers with them, but now-a-days I have started playing the InfiTech 2 pack (Greg Tech balanced pack) made by someone else. If you haven't tried that pack out yet, you are really missing out. Its nice to have a challenge. I love taking on the challenge of the progression along with building extensive builds.
Last time I replied on this thread I listed my age as 71+, well it's changed. I just turned 73 a month or so ago (AM I MAYBE THE OLDEST ON THIS FORUM?) so I find it strange to see all the 20s and 30s folk worrying about the kids they run across on the servers.
Admittedly the multiuser server I play on most mainly has clients around my son's age (30s) but I feel no important difference with their play and goals versus mine. All are respectful and don't bother other's projects and posessions.

We solved the problem of unruly players when my son created our personal family-only server. Now family from coast to coast (literally) all get to play together and we always know we are among people we can trust.
