Fyi, through the night is not a parody, it's actually an original song.
Also, I wanted to add Sweden to my list. And let's not forget Calm 1, the first minecraft song I heard.
Funny thing about Mice on Venus. When I first heard that song, it was also the first time I discovered an NPC village. It felt so happy, and I felt like I was in a safe town, safe from monsters (in most games, towns are life safe zones). I was proved wrong when I saw the whole village get assaulted. I wanted to make an escape tunnel for the villagers, but they never went through it. And as I was digging, there were mobs above just killing all the villagers. And a few creeper explosions laid waste to a beautiful village. It felt sad to see the village turned into a wasteland. But then Mice on Venus came up again, and my spirits were lifted. I decided to abandon that save file and start a new one, with a village that I swore to protect.
I don't know all the names, but I'm gonna go on the Volume Alpha and Volume Beta playlists some time and listen to it while lying down or something so I can familiarize with songs I don't know and names I'm not sure of. I really love the Minecraft OST, it's so peaceful, soothing, and fitting.
I remember Sweden played at this one point when I was strip-mining, where I was on the edge of an epic cave, being in the open. I built some cobble walls to protect my strip, but above were ledges from caves that would penetrate the stone, and lava patches riddled the ground. Anyway, Sweden started playing, and I swear it felt so perfect. I find Sweden to be somewhat melancholic, giving the feeling of loneliness but also potential in the desolate land. The zombie snarls and other occasional mob noises accompanied the moment perfectly. It's sort of difficult to explain. Like, when the attitude of the song becomes more fierce (after the quiet bridge), I think, "I will survive. I will pull through. I will do great things."
Ah, yes, the new Nether tracks in 1.7. I really like those. I wish they could come up with an Enderdragon track. It's very unfitting to hear peaceful music while fighting a dragon.

AND CLICK.
To me, I think I dislike Minecraft songs because they are so cheesy to me. They all are parody mostly, and I am annoyed by them.
Anyway, Ward and whatever the Nether track(s?) are.
Parodies: All
Actual Minecraft Music: The End music and Calm4.

My friend used to have a server with decent amount of people, and when he has a little firework show, he uses Cat for firework show background music.
I actually like all the volume alpha music and the music disc. But chirp is my favourite.
