So, as of now the Minecraft servers are down according to xpaw and the website is flickering on and offline. on one of the few moments the website was online I decided to try getting on it and succeeded. Then a giant camera came on the screen saying "NSA is watching you" Scared out of my mind, I closed the window. I then covered up my camera on my computer. Now, I know it was a scam, I knew it from the start, I'm not even an adult, what would the NSA want with someone like me, and I also haven't done anything bad that would get government attention or even threaten it. Some quick research on the phenomenon showed this is a virus that gets onto servers and such and scams users into paying money so some hackers can get into your computer. I did not get a screenshot as I was scared out of my mind. If it does happen, turn it off immediately. I wanted to talk about this so that Notch and Jeb can know about what I saw

Yeah same thing happened to me. If it pops up, just close it but note when it shows up and what it says and report it. It will close so it isn't too big of a deal. But it is still something that should be brought to attention.
No, it's a protest against the NSA's security measures, which everybody's afraid could mount to totalitarianism. I doubt the NSA would use viri, anyway.
