If a kid gets scared by that, they shouldn't be playing the game. The only scary thing about the enderman is the sound that plays when they're after you. (that can scare anyone, though)
In Multiplayer, 9+ can play but watch out! Many swear words
Most public servers have rules against swearing. If you're playing on a server someone purchased and there's no rules against it, it's a play-at-your-own-risk scenario.
Really dark caves can scare off kids under 8 unless you put a torch in it
Bedrooms get dark late at night with the light off, so you put a night-light in the room. Same concept.
Note: There is NO blood in the game its 0%
Of course there's no blood. This is a child friendly game, after all.
What proof do you suggest he provide? What would you consider to be credible?
Well reasonable evidence that would make sense; of course there's no credibility he can give to his statements as people of any age can get scared or affected by swearing. It just depends on the person themselves, not their age.

Than why would you ask for evidence to back it up if you believe that it's all a matter of opinion?

I've been on servers with the 'blood' plugin. It shows the breaking of redstone particles fly everywhere when you hit a mob. This is NOT family friendly and should ne warned about on servers.

PLUGIN. Keyword, PLUGIN. Blood plugin is not default on servers, and if you're going to join a server that is owned by someone, you're joining at your own risk. It's not Mojang's duty to enforce family friendly servers. They'll enforce family friendly servers in terms of porn, flaming, spamming, abuse, etc, but for something so minor, not a chance.
It's also the parent's duty to monitor what their child does on the computer, what games they play, what public servers they join with other people. If you don't want your child to join a server with a blood plugin on it, PM the server owner and ask if they have it on their server, or PM and ask them if their server is child friendly.
You obviously forgot the part of the game that has ZOMBIES! REALISTIC UNDEAD MONSTERS THAT WANT TO KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR BRAINS! Any sane game developer would never include such offensive material in a so-called "kid's game."
I don't know many or any at all that are scared of Minecraft. Sure, watch out for those servers that allow cussing, but even then.. Most servers aren't usually kid friendly.
My son is 7 1/2 he plays creative mostly, but will play a little bit of survival. The jump scares are what really get him, and when he gets overwhelmed by mobs. He's been playing since he was 5.
All of this is single player or playing with me. He'll also watch youtube, which I monitor what he watches.
Minecraft is great for children, but like all things, in moderation.
I don't see a problem with letting young kids play with mobs. It's made for all ages. Heck, I'm a teen, and I still jump a little when an enderman/creeper pops out of nowhere.

Plus, these aren't real creatures, and there's nothing inappropriate about it. Creepers generally make grown people jump. XD It's hilarious when watching Youtubers.

Singleplayer peaceful is the safest difficulty for 5+

...So? A kid can be not scared of Endermen, or of caves. Or some of them (who are over the age he listed) can still be scared of them.

To see OP's argument fall apart.

Exactly what my point was.
