I knew about minecraft ever since around August/September of 2010. when I had seen a Youtube video about it. I first tried Minecraft classic and later went on to try Minecraft beta 1.7.3 which was cracked, I later received a Minecraft code from a website when beta 1.8 just came out. So sad I didn't get to experience much of the old days. From beta 1.8 and on, I saw how the terrain was dull and boring compared to Beta 1.7.3 and before.
1.2.5, but I've heard about it since eighth grade, from a couple of friends talking about it. At first, I was like "meh, I already play [insert random game here]", but my brother got into wanting it. We made an account together and asked our dad to take our money and pay the $26.95. Then later (1.4.4), my brother made an account for himself. So there's Fluffy8x (me) and Fluf8x (my brother).
I wouldn't consider that a long time, only about a year. A lot of us are coming up to our third year. Still, better late to the party than never, and when you bought the game has basically nothing to do with your experience with the game.
I never said it was a long time lol.

Beta 1.8 is when I bought the game.
I pirated it at first to see if I would like it.\
After 2 months of playing it non-stop, I decided I liked it and bought it.
Heard about it sence Alpha 1.2.6, but I was a foolish Roblox fan who thought of Lego when i saw minecraft, then around Beta 1.1 is when i decided to give minecraft a chance, and i loved it, I bought it at Beta 1.2 (Around the launcher update), however I couldn't play till Beta 1.4 due to lag, however now i can bearly play with 20 fps, and now i have other games to play, also you can look at my profile...
The MC life was so simple then.
