Hey guys, have you ever experience a deopped of a staff member by another staff member, for the stupidest reason? Here are my 4 stories, all as me getting deopped.
1. I was on the first server I had ever joined, I had been on it for around 2.5 months, and the Owner granted me Admin. So I was built a house for me and my friends to live in. The ceiling was out of gold blocks. I was deopped for having too valuable of resource blocks in my house.
2. I was on this one server somebody told me needed staff. After around a month, me and my same 2 friends as listed above were messing around with AutoMessages. I made one that said, "Bow down to (my username), the Master Troller (I like messing around with people). Me and my friends were deopped and banned for taking over the server, apparantly.
3. I was on a vanilla server my same friends' friend had made. The server went public from advertising, and somebody griefed main spawn (no protection). I was accused of the grief, and deopped.
4. I was an admin on a server with my friend-not the same friend-who was an admin also. The owner was on too, and I was teasing him about having the nickname Lagger (whom he nicknamed himself) and I was saying that reloads always kicked me from the game (not in a complaining way). I was deopped for making funny remarks. I defended myself that I had no warnings that he wanted me to stop, and I had done alot for the server. The owner said, "Name one," I replied with 5 different things. He said, "It doesn't count cause I never specifically asked you to do those things," and muted me. I then left the server. Luckily, my friend started texting me (the other admin) about what was going on. She said the other admins online were making fun of me, and I said that really ticked me off.
I think you just need to respect the people in charge.
You are running a risk by doing all these things.
And in future, you should always clarify with the Owner what you can and can not do.
In other words.

I always respect them. I didn't think making funny remarks or building a house with gold blocks would get me deopped.
Keep in mind that as the intelligent to idiotic server owner ratio is 1:50 (or somewhere around that number). Back in alpha it wasn't as bad but now everyone and their mother can make a server if they want to. Not everyone is cut out to be a server owner and not everyone has the sense of humor you do.
Servers #1 and #2 are classic examples of idiotic owners and a great example of why some people shouldn't be server owners
Server #3 was you being made a scapegoat. Nothing you can do about that really.
Server #4 kinda was being disrespectful. You really had no right to make remarks about his name unless you knew the guy well. But I'm guessing you didn't so you should really think about what your doing.
I went on one server, played for three days. Joined again, and said something, and my name was red, indicating I had been made an admin. My first act? De-opping myself and removing the rank. I'm not getting forced into a position of responsibility without being asked.

Turning down a powerful position? Have a vote up.
Me, my own story, would have to be on my own private server. Various things were going on with certain op enabled friends, mainly those who thought it was OK to spawn diamonds in on our survival world. I had this plan for putting a stop to it, but someone got wind of it through the grapevine or other means and thought it would be a good idea to unopify me. Needless to say, via server console, I revoked all of their op rights and whatnot, reinstating myself. That was a year ago, and the moral is the op status is not a token of trust to be handed out willy nilly to friends, no matter how close they claim themselves to be.

BUT being Admin is about abusing power and messing around! NOT about being responsible for the server!
I've never been de-op'd. Usually the owner gives up and stops running the server forever because of some people who think DDOS'ing random servers is fun.

I haven't gone on any of these 4 servers since.
Anyone out there that can relate?
