Uhm how would i change which layer the block was going on? I want a layer of sand at 168 so when i place a block on it that will fall and i am left with one block flying c:
Thank you :3
I'm sure that having a chain of block updates extending to beyond the loaded chunk limit will crash the game. When I went from 1.8 to 1.0, the network of rails on Glowstone was ruined due to this, the rails would attempt to break when they did not exist.
I'd like to see how well one layer of Monster spawners holds up CPU-wise. 80,000 spinning pigs won't do much good...
Thank You TheBuddyiesAreHere & netrun64! Your info has helped me a lot! :-D
I was wanting to make a Compleatly Blank World. (For building Space Ships, Space Stations, etc.)
This is what I used: 2;0
You can't make it blank. It has to have at least 1 layer of blocks. Luckly, Air(ID: 0) counts as one. That tricks it. X-D
Note: You need to use MCEdit to place the first block. (Not while MC is running.)
Or you could just make a world with one layer of sand and then right when you place your first block, all the sand would fall and you would have no need for MCEdit.
I want to make a flat world that has everything a normal world has oceans, rivers, desert, snow, ice, swamp, forest, jungle, just no hills.
Is it possible ?
I kinda was wondering, (I hope this isn't off-topic, I just joined the forums) is there a preset for me to just have iron blocks as my top layer, and anything at the the bottom? Just without the void please. If the void is really deep though, since I won't be mining *too much* its fine also. Just not like 20 blocks down = void. Any code is highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
Edit: (superflat, without any villages, grass, hills, etc)
I have added block IDs. Please check it out.
Thank you kind sir, as I finally remembered this post and added your comment in the main post.
Make sure the mod is installed correctly, then use the ID. Hope I helped.
Can you make it for me?
I want 20 blocks of grass blocks on top, under that about 10 block of stone and then bedrock?
If you want to be sure that I read your reply then quote me.
Just because you find it easy doesn't mean other people don't have problems with it.

Yeah, pretty much.

It's an infinite field of wheat with enough dirt & stone underneath to keep slimes from spawning on the surface.
(What Saskatchewan looks like IRL, completely flat & covered in wheat as far as the eye can see)

Thanks for the help
