Whats a good way to increase FPS while recording. Cause when i am recording i dont actually get lagg when i play however when i watch the recorded video there is massive amounts of lagg
It would be best to have a desktop computer of course, but I'm pretty sure you already know that. On a laptop it would be best to record with a PVR, but those are expensive! The best rational and most inexpensive way to help with the recording to make sure to use a good program like Fraps and have a secondary hard drive that you record too. You don't want to play and record to the same disk. You can get a SATA to USB converter and an external hard drive en-closer to do this on a laptop. Just look around on Newegg and TigerDirect for good Hard Drive Sales and you probably only need a 120 GB or less if you're only gonna use it for recording.
Running with my modpack with 85 mods on 1.4.6 and a full 32 Bit texture pack for all the modded items on max default (no optifine) settings I usually get 24-42 FPS. On Vanilla minecraft with the same type texture pack I get anywhere from 124-315 FPS depending on different variables. All these stats are from SMP as I don't play singleplayer any. This is a desktop computer as well with fairly decent hardware. On my laptop I would get 38 FPS max on Vanilla and that's really low settings with Optifine. Laptops have really low FPS usually due to the fact they don't have graphic cards, just on-board video which sucks!
I tend to get around 10-20 on a bad day, 40-50 on most days, (optifine) and on a really good day i could get excess of 100 fps with no optifine. this is on a work laptop (macbook pro) that has ~2GB of RAM left.
About 400 FPS on Vanilla, with optifine, 600 FPS
And with FTB Ultimate pack (A Ton of mods that are very computer intensive) and also optifine i get 300 FPS
(Each one of these is with my graphics on Max.

"Schizophrenia is a culturally bound phenomenon. Its pattern of expression is filtered through the cultural substrate in which its symptoms develop,in technological Societies, this manifests as delusions of surveillance and a belief that advanced technology is deployed against you, usually with some vague unseen "other" out to get you."
16-65 without Optifine and a 16x Texture Pack.
Woah woah!

Get a little higher with 256 sphanx in tekkit, about 250 FPS + or so I think.
Computer is a 4506$ custom build if you wonder.
grahpics turned way down 200 fps
optifine? what is that? I am gong to have to look in to it!
One of the reasons I don't have videos on my channel...
I think I could do Source or Terraria, though.
10-30 fps w/ optifine
