I like to think I'm pretty decent with redstone, I can do most of the basic stuff no problem, and even some more advanced things, depending on what it is, but nothing super complicated, that stuff is still out of my grasp.
I can do basic stuff. I feel like I suck though when comparing myself to people like Etho and others of that skill level. When I want to make something complicated, I look for a how-to video. Sort of like in real life when trying to assemble something complicated, I read the instructions instead of trying to wing it.

Good. I know how to make a clock(?) with a command block, comparator, repeater, and a sticky piston. The close you get it activates the command block /testfor command and it activates the redstone that goes into a piston holding a block and that will go down and up because the repeater sends it through to block which then sends it to the comparator do the process over again
