Legit the coolest thing i built was a 10x8 sky scraper with many different floors, it had pools, storage floors, an art room, guest rooms, even a spiral staircase into the ground with secret passages out and a giant mine complex. unfortunately i lost a save when my computer was fried, we recovered pretty much everything but my video games.
That sounds awesome! It sucks that you lost all of your games and saves D:
I've only played all legit a single time, and I made an arena for PVP and my small wooden house. The rest of the times I've played on peaceful, used server mods, or creative. (The only thing that is legit is pure vanilla Minecraft on any difficulty but Peaceful.
No, it;s the doors that do. I have build the houses, and then started to place a lot of doors randomly and the villagers started to breed. Trust me A LOT OF DOORS
I built a nice luxurious stone brick castle carved into a snowy mountain. That was after my underwater glass dome home got griefed and I decided to leave it. I still live in it and it's got a throne room, a bedroom, a tower, a front room, a parlor, and a chest room. Then underground it has a circular room that leads off to a dungeon, furnace room, and a panic room. Then on the river valley below I have a large automatic wheat farm yielding 4 stacks of wheat each harvest, and a tree farm. On the other side of the mountain, in the nicer river valley my friend built a small stone brick dwelling into a hill. I have a wooden pathway lined with logs and leaves leading to it.
I built a city with piston doors on a server. I had a 4x1 cobblestone wall, and I invited people in.... No regular player could destroy it (it was protected.) But then a dumbass admin just went along and blew it up with tnt.
This is just wrong. I don't know how those servers survive.
Anyway recently I built a system that gathered lava in the nether, put it in iron buckets, then transported it to the overworld via ender chests, and put it in my geothermal generators. Really cool automation. =D (this is in tekkit btw)
Here's a video of me building it: Well that's the nether half of it. The other half I'm posting tomorrow.
The only problem I'm finding on my test server now that I'm building my automated sorter is that the sorter is sucking up the power way too fast. =( Need to expand the lava gathering contraption by like 4x!
Here are some pictures of my minecraft house/world But its in SURVIVAL
My house:(some pictures might be outdated, but yet again this world is old, so I took some pictures months ago)
This is my base.
This is the place of operations.
Another view.
Top floor, outdated picture but looks nearly the same.
Swimming pool
Extension of the house, below there their is an tresure room.
Underground of the house, the stair case is in different spot but thats how the entry looks like.
It's an meeting room, but underground and you can see some of the water!
Tower
This tower is by my house because it's an ladder to an park which I have created, and it bassically the tip of the mountain, so it has an lighthouse at the top!
The tower
Top of it, outdated...
Another, outdated yet again.
The park and the lighthouse.
I always wanted to have an park on top of an mountain, so here it is, and it has an lighhouse too!
This is the park at the left of it it's anbridge from the tower
The nice fountain and bench and the side way path leading up to the lighhouse, brilliant!
This mountain by dirt has been made by me, a lot of dirt was needed but I made it look relistic as it cannot float magically.
Inside of it, an staircase.
Top of it.
The ship port
I wanted to have some connection with the ocean so I have created an ship port in a big lagoon
This is an entrance to it
The stair case leads to an castle but to the left of it is an entrance to the ship port. (right is from the picture above]
The view from the park.
you can see it from the ship port!
The farm building.
Here is my special building dedicated to the farming, it has an automatic wheat farm, melon farm, pupkin farm, sugar cane farm, and cocoa beans and cacti.
This is the building
Here is an what farm, it has 3 section of 4 x 8 wheat spaces so it gives me 192 wheat for every single section! ( all of them if they have grown)
Magic lever! press it and it makes the glass go up and unleash the water and destroy the what and pick it up and replant!
This is the tunnel leading to the other section, so you don't have to come out.
Another view.
This is how it looks like.
The Village.
In my world, I spawn in the village, and the first thing I did was to destroy it and get the resources to build it, but they have announced that they will add village trading, so I decided to build a wall around the village and add extra houses. Now 38 villagers live here!
This is the 1st half of the village,
This is an 2nd half.
I have made an train station under it so it goes all the way to here to my house!
Loooooong tunnel.
The way out! (next to the left is an stair case leading up to a castle and ship port) And to the right there is an Farm building.
The castle
Next to the lighthouse there is an huge mountain too, So I have been planning a castle for a while, so here it is...
Perfect!
You can see the stair case from here and the bit of my farm building too!
View from the farm building
Next to the plains.
The view from the ocean.
Dining hall.
best room of the castle in my opinion.
1st floor:
2nd floor:
Hi I am steve and this is a jack-ass show.
Everything here is legit.
Impressive! Hope my server looks like this after awhile.

Wow. Just wow. That is a really detailed description so I'm guessing you are proud of it. How long did it take you to do all of this approximately?

That sounds awesome! I never knew that the ender chests actually had purpose haha. What are you gonna do with all of the lava?
I prefer to make useful machines than to build pretty structures, mostly just because that's what I'm better at. I have a giant endermen farm in the overworld over an ocean, and an even nicer grinder in my ocean base that delivers tons of skeletons, zombies, and creepers all at half a heart for tons of exp

I actually once built a really sick castle, but the world got corrupt.
Damn Minecraft and its shinnanigens. I'm making a castle now ALL LEGIT. First I need to stay alive so a farm. Then get materials, Then clear land, then Build!
Ok well If I knew how to import screen shots you would be able to see it. However I appear to be dumb on this subject.
In any case It's a 1:1 scale re-creation of the old D&D Temple of Elemental Evil. If it were real it would the about the fourth largest cathedral in the world.
I used an editor to flatten the land (Was a pretty good sized hill in the back and I hate moving dirt). However the the rest was all dug, collected, and created without editors, 100% legit. I'll never make anything that big ever again.
P.S. if any one wants to take pity on me and explain how to post a pic on here. Be very great full.
It's not some grand thing, but I made this a few months ago: I was originally going for "Mumm-Ra's Lair" and it turned out like this. It's a big pyramid made of obsidian with matching obselisks.(Yes, I know they look like crap. It's hard with blocks.) The pyramid itself caps a 50x50 hole that goes to bedrock. The interior is currenntly unfinished, so pictures for that yet. An entirely solo effort and with right around 4,000 obsidian, for the curious.
Recently, I made a Duke Nukem pixel.Just over 4,000 obsidian for the outline, because that's how I roll, and about 10K wool. Took about three months working at it off and on, most of the time spent on obsidian collection, heh.

I put it in my geothermal generators, which produces energy for my machines. =D In tekkit a lot of stuff like furnaces and other things run on electricity. One thing I found though is I need to make this system WAY larger. I run out of energy rather quickly even with 2 million in storage!
That sounds awesome! It sucks that you lost all of your games and saves D:
That is really sweet!
Well at least you can survive XD
Cool!
I didn't even know that!

Oh man I bet it was, Did you rage quit when you first did? Haha when I died and had diamond stuff and it burned in lava I deleted the map XD.
FINALLY figured out how to post pictures
IT IS NOT MY PICTURE but I made the exact same house. EXACT. I think these were my blueprints
My Mob trap, both made legit.
Nice!
?
im not even sure if its good enough for posting, but we tried to create Mordor~ish tower
Wow I think that's awesome!
