Like the title says how much do you think you have changed since you started. Any difference in building style? Do you explore the land more or less now? Are you still afraid of creepers?
Personally I think I've gotten much better at building. Still hoard everything I find like I used to though.
ive become an excelent house builder ever since i join multiplayer and ive become good at everything they have to offer, i easily slay monster and snipe mobs and players from as far as the edge of normal rendersistance view, ive made highly efficent farms and mines the give me a good 30-40 diamonds an hour! ive also learned some redstone, compared to when i started i would build crap houses that where just amazing in size and harvest tons of items, making a tower of smoothstone before i even had a single diamond. but with efficency minecraft has lost some of the naive fealing you have when you first started playing i also explore alot less

I think I've gradually gotten better at building, building is my favorite thing to do, reason why I mostly play on peaceful
Exploring is great, I use to get real scared of creepers and mobs my heart would start racing real fast because I wouldn't want to lose my iron pick, but I've learned how to deal with them
I used to be very timid when it came to hostile mobs, especially in caves. I would mostly avoid dark areas and slowly creep forward, spamming torches wherever I could place them farthest in the darkness. Now I run into the dark, placing torches as I go, killing hostile mobs (usually) without a problem.
I changed a lot after I started playing, I use to tend to stay on peaceful forever and don't explore caves, I tend to only turn on hard or easy when I wanted to grind at the ol' mob grinder. Now I go explore caves on hard, I keep hard on for most of the time, peaceful if I just wanna clear caves faster (Abandon Mineshafts or Gigantic Caves) I don't shy away from the mobs I charge at them and destroy them without a problem now.
When I first started, I always played on peaceful, I knew nothing about redstone, I thought that 10 iron was a lot, and when I first saw a nether portal, my mind was completely blown. Diamonds were elusive, so I cheated alot.
Now, I play on hard, I know some basic redstone circuitry, I have an excess of 200 iron, I hunt ghasts and blazes for fun, and those diamonds are just as elusive as ever, but I always get them legit.
When i first started i punched doors, now I right click. I always named my worlds new world, now i name them something clever. I only used stone tools, now i use DIAMOND! I built oddly shaped houses, now i am the man with the plan. I deleted my world if i saw a creeper, now i am a MANLY MAN! I punched iron doors with redstone to open them, now i time the doors with advanced redstone. I used to punch everything (including ores) with my fists, now i have a special chest for tools. So ya, I say i have changed.
I still like to play SP on Peaceful, theres something peaceful about it (duh lol) Point being with Peaceful you can build what you like, where you like and continue to expand and build even larger structures. I recently joined a MP server called MegaCraft which is pretty cool, cool peeps to play with. Upon joining the server I made the immediate switch from Peaceful to Hard, drastic switch which automatically made me increase my building skills although the serve has the creeper plugin that rebuilds the blocks and such that the creepers destroy. Ive learned semi-complicated redstone circuitry, increasing my building skills, exploration skills, and overall MC skills. I believe that MP is the place to go to learn more and fine tune your skills. Not nescesarily playing on a PVP server but just MP in general, whatever suits you do it. Have fun fellow MCrafters
I've changed from a small house builder with 1-2 large half completed items to a small house builder with 6-10 large uncomplete items....but I've been working on them more and using more advanced items in them.
I've gone from reading the wiki, to modding and reading the source code.
But in-game, I've gone from incredibly scared to incredibly confident (only on easy mode).
On normal and hard modes, I've gone from incredibly scared to... incredibly scared.
I'm no longer scared of monsters, I've began this method of making large houses by making a 6x6 wooden house, then i'd just attach more and more houses making a huge ultra house. Definitely a better builder, and I actually like creepers a bit more.
Personally I think I've gotten much better at building. Still hoard everything I find like I used to though.

Building has improved, I still play on hard, and I carry much more with me now, seeing as I've gotten better at combat and generally not dying.
