that is why is trolling us and now will meet and
deadly combination much.
The reason was stated: They're fame-hungry bastards.
They already have fame, and there's honestly no reason to bash on the yogscast. They never claimed to have found it, and included the reddit link in the description.
Why must we all alienate each other on pointless topics?

I've been a Minecraft player since Beta 1.7, still my favorite game!

You do know that the study was completely bogus.
“Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae.”
This one has stuck around for a while because the text itself is so convincing. However, there is no proof that such a study was ever conducted. The "fact" got so much attention that a Cambridge researcher took it upon himself to investigate it and has kept a record of all his findings here: http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/people/matt.davis/Cmabrigde/
However, the truth of the matter is that the jumbling only works in some circumstances, where the letters of the words haven't been scrambled all that much. For example, try to make sense of this phrase: "Hilpapy aoutrhs sitll issnit on fwinollog dullfready oslotebe snellpig." Not so easy now is it?

"I'm not looking for a colony on the moon. I know how to win."
The mclogo.png clearly says "Minecraft", when assembled properly.
The coding in there flip flops the logo textures. That's why the .png file is cut in half life that.
Also,
So a while ago, I did some intentionally obscure code in the title screen to switch two letters around, making it say "Minceraft" (old running gag, there's even a "minceraft" mockup t shirt design we did) instead of "Minecraft" on every 10000th game launch or so, and nobody found it! I was so happy about that, I finally knew something about the game the players didn't know.
I was so confused for a second...
That was so easy from my 2 years of playing video games multiplayer and watching people not know how to type

Sees Minecraft logo
Restart client
Sees Minecraft logo

Basically, I did this about hundreds of times before I got bored and gave up.
lol
The former disproves the latter. Small people like us have every reason to bash big people like them.

"If you see it you'll **** brick"-like easter egg or something?
A texture pack can change the logo image, so it's very likely that someone made a texture pack just to fake it.
A quick look through an unaltered 1.2.5 Jar shows no signs of minced rafts.
It's in the game coding:
Notch also confirmed it a while back too.
