If you didn't do anything wrong, you shouldnt need to apologize. And if it really is limited to the panel, then Notch did a bad move with the public calling out and they DEFINATELY shouldn't apologize.
Unless notch was referring to something else, then I'm going to say he is in the wrong here, unfortunately.
Funny thing is I've heard an interview by c418 and he dropped more f-bombs in a minute than I thought possible. Hopefully he didn't have a panel.
However whether or not they knew it was right they must understand the general age group of minecraft players. They're not speaking to an old folks home about retirement plans but speaking to an audience made up 10-20 years olds primarily. Even without knowledge of the age group it's good to take the political route and be very cautious of your word choices, however the yogscast are made up of two people who're so full of themselves that I wouldn't doubt it if they didn't give a crap.
I think it's BS. When I compare the vocabulary of Yogscast compared to what I hear everyday, I find their videos excellent. Yes they can drop some f-bombs but when it comes from 2 guys who have an excellent talking, I don't see the problem. My kids could be exposed to that, no problem. It's not like a movie in which a guy has 4 words of vocabulary and 3 of them are curses.

He used masturbation jokes in our videos, but then criticises us for using old footage with swearing in, when we have limited resources to edit the footage in Vegas, and also neither Mojang nor IGN gave us any guidelines as to what we were and weren't allowed to do - the people in the panel and on the livestream chose to come and see us - so you'd think they'd know swearing is likely.
We did about six hours of signings and photos in general - no kid or parent complained to us about swearing.
I won't say more as Lewis' v-log will expose everything in wonderfully high definitioned rage, so give us a few days to get our thoughts in order.

Problem is those people only have an audience of 20-30 people at max. The yogscast had an audience of at least 500,000 people, that is much different. Also I wouldn't really base your argument on how the general population acts because it is made up of people who believe racism, sexism, and derogatory words are good to use in everyday conversations.
I actually doubt there is going to be a 100% friendly apology video from the yogscast. They won't swear at Notch or anything but I don't think they would just do that.
And for gods sake stop censoring **** because of children. Just make it 18+ or 16+...I hate having to look at censored TV Shows, censored games, censored texts and all that just because children might be watching. **** children. There I said it
I'm not that much of a Yogscast fan, but Notch should have kept his mouth shut.
That tweet was completely unnecessary. He could have just ended their relationship quietly, but no. Now he's going to have thousands of Yogscast fans looking for blood.

If that doesn't work then compare it to the vocabulary of NOTCH.
Still with the amount that Simon and Lewis have spent on their educations, they really ought to know better than to swear when speaking in public. Especially on some kind of panel. It's really not kosher and Notch is right to be annoyed.
Apparently the swearing was in footage from a Yogscast video, not the guys themselves. They didn't have the time or resources to edit it for content in time for their panel.
Bullies must have given you hell as a kid.

Awesome logic. I'm digging it.

(I guess having any hope that anything could reach a peaceful conclusion in the minecraft community was entirely illogical, though!)
"sometimes, wizards are so awesome, it hurts"
Where was it posted? I can't find it.

I'm guessing here, but she's edited it since then.

Well said, Hannah.
Thanks.

You sound like an angry person.

I ended it using appropriate logic. Thank me later.
