Though really, dirt. I'd rather build most of a house out of gravel, pillar up using gravel. At least when you slide your way down on a gravel pillar you might get flint.
Dirt just gets you... dirt.
Also stone bricks aren't that great. Take forever to cut through (like redstone ore) and besides looking pretty aren't too useful.

Gravel is great for suffocating and getting flint, but it becomes down right annoying. It's ugly, too. It hardly even looks like gravel in the most recent texture.
Sponges, when will they start working?
Cobwebs...Very irrattating.
Cauldrons. Having a small infinite water source is much better than wasting iron on a cauldron.
Melon slices. I like them and all. Yet, melon seeds are kind of hard to find. Melons restore 8 HPs from a whole melon, but it doesn't last long and your hunger goes back down right away.
For me its :
Gravels : didn't hate it at first but after reading "IT HAS NO USE,CANT BE CRAFTED" then fk off gravel, that's a stupid piece of flint generator lol.
Saplings : i don't need those,really....i have like 5 stacks of them in my old world now,and i don't even use them for anything
Leaves : Cmon man, when i destroy your tree,it's because i need the wood, when leaves just float around like that that serves no purpose
Lapis lazuli : despite the name, yeah plain ugly
Lava, because with worldedit I once did /cyl 10 10 instead of /cyl dirt 10 10, an alas, I learned that lava block ID was 10. And I had a giant ball of lava to clean up. I hate lava!

I have discovered a truly remarkable proof of this, which this margin is too small to contain.

Ummm...... Dirt
It I useless... And can be broken down really easily
I play MCPE, so gravel is useful cause it can get you flint which with an iron ingot can get you flint and steel, the only way to detonate TNT.
I change my mind.... I choose sponge
Only in creative, only for decoration, and it has NO USE!
Lapis Lazuli is pretty bad, and so are those dang Cobwebs!
Poisonous potatoes give really little food, are really ugly, and give poison. They aren't too rare when you set up a farm. 1/50 potatoes are poisonous, so if you set up a farm with 50 potatoes, there is a kind of big chance of getting one. Also, clocks are kind of useless, but as of 1.17, they look good. If you only count how useless it is, it probably is the dragon egg. But it looks kind of good and can show how skilled you are, because not that many people have defeated the ender dragon. For me, the most useless is coral. If you take them out of water, they die, and they have no use. When they are dead, they look really bad, too. Granite, diorite and andesite can be polished, so they can look good, so thats why I am not saying they are useless. Anyway that should be good enough.

Also, dirt is good for stacking, as it can be broken easily with shovels. You can use dirt as a foundation and easily replace it with your desired block. Cobwebs can be used for traps, Lapis Lazuli can give enchants, and sponges can wipe away some water, so I don't agree. Also, since 1.9, you can get sponges from ocean monuments.

Lava is good for traps, killing mobs, and can get you cooked meat from passive mobs, and baked potatoes from zombies as of 1.17. This is off-topic, but you can use /cyl air and then your desired spot.
I used to think rotten flesh was garbage, ever since I used it to breed a pack of wolves in one of my older worlds that opinion changed, although I believe rotten flesh could have some more uses introduced, like making more dirt blocks to replace what was stolen by Endermen or deleted by Creepers.
what took the crown as the most useless item for me was poisonous potato, it's so bad it's something I've planned on making a place for it in a Hall of Fail museum.

Lololol
dirt
"Elliot", or "Fire"
Please tell me you're kidding.
And I think the most annoying is lapis, its useless unless you count decoration, but that's ALL it does.
Edit: That changed, it's no longer lapis.

I think I actually hate cauldrons the most.
Mine at level 6.

I think Poisonous Potato it only gives you poison when you eat it not anything else.

Well, in caves you can tell if it will be night/day when you leave, and they look good as of 1.17.

Redstone, i find it in large quantities and its exaggerating.
