So, they just announced today at E3 Minecraft will be sold for the Kinect, are you guys exited? I surely am not, why you may ask? Kincet. I don't like the concept about not using a controller. It just bugs me. So, share your feeling if you will!
no minecraft should STAY on the PC we dont need a bunch of assholes complaining on te game graphicsbecause blah blah game is HD.......just leave minecraft to the PC!
Okay, since I'm not at E3, I'll just assume this is Minecraft on Xbox with Kinect support, (not just support for a Kinect on the PC.)
Does that mean it's not Java? Can you actually run Java games on Xbox? (I don't have one, so I don't know if it exists.) If he ported Minecraft to some other code-base, does that mean the 'REAL' version will get ported as well?
Actually, now that I think about it, it probably would have been ported to C# (XNA) and that wouldn't really have bought us anything (except sucking royally for Linux/MAC users.) So I guess I'd better keep quiet.
Servers will most likely be all medium sized though, no 200 player servers. I would imagine somewhere around 30 player servers... Plus no mods, hopefully they'll release mods as DLCs or something. I would imagine iDevices to have about 15 players and mods as DLCs.
Elaborate on that, why don't you?

Yeah, MineCraft on its own is boring, and on Xbox there would be no INVSpawning, so being truly creative would be hard.
Rofl, true, true.
He earned it haha, from indie poor to epic rich. Congrats Notch, my hats off to you.
*****, get in my minecart.
