I was just wondering if anyone does this and has found any songs that fit well with the style of Minecraft. Normally I only listen to the in-game music and sounds while playing, but I was recently listening to some Pink Floyd while playing and came across a very fitting song while going on those journeys through those dark, deep caverns.
Give 'Echoes' by Pink Floyd a listen and go for a little stroll through a cavern. Very creepy, especially the middle part of the song. Any Floyd fans will know what I'm talking about.
It's like a 25 minute song too so it's good for a decent length adventure.
No. I need to hear the monster/water/lava sounds when I'm digging. To know when dungeons and caves are near. And minecraft needs as much memory as I can give it.
I listen to my rock channel on pandora, though I turn the sound down low, just so I can hear stuff in game, it becomes more of a ambient sound than a song, it's nice.

But music. Do you prefer Instrumental or regular?
I just throw on whatever music I find myself enjoying that week.
I headbang in game but can't see anything when I do :sad.gif:
Sometimes I don't listen though.
The trip up will be one of the greatest journeys you've ever had.
