I have noticed that initially at night it is extremely dark, but as the moon rises, it gets slightly brighter. Whether this is true or just me, I don't know. But I am very sure than human eyes adjust to the night very well and after a while vision at night is only slightly worse than in the day. So this should be reflected.
In addition, when previously in a bright environment and suddenly changed to darkness, there is a period where your eyes need time to adjust. The converse is also true.
huh looks like the threads alive again. my 2 then: I found with all the lights in my room out, at night with only the monitor's light I could see in a no light room no problem. turn on one light and the screen was impossible to see due to background lighting. So lets end the thread on a positive note and say "yes, we are blind in the light."

Wait, if the Nether is where the damned go, what happens to the things you kill in the Nether?
Canada.
