Also have we discussed a time yet? Because it may be better for me if it's at sometime after 1PM.
because i live all the way across the Puget Sound in Port Orchard and it takes more than an hour to get to Bellevue.

I'll probably go, depending on where and what you're doing.

@chickenboy8 I asked the same thing (I probably wont be open until about 4pm), but there hasn't been a specific conversation yet. That's primarily due to people not being perfectly sure when Notch is available. I sent him tweet asking when on the 31st he'll be free, but haven't heard back (in the last hour).
Another possibility that occurred to me is that people who want to might be able to meet early and play and/or talk MC for a while and then as more people show up we could do other stuff too. (Don't ask me what other stuff; I haven't gotten that far yet.)
We could go to a bowling alley or something that's actually entertaining, too. Maybe a movie? Who knows. He did say he had all day, and I'm not the type to just sit in a cafe and talk to people I haven't met before.

I am in a similar situation except not in Port Orchard my plan is just to go an hour or two before we are supposed to meet to make sure I am there in time. But I suspect it will be some time in the afternoon or an all day thing but I have no idea since Notch has said nothing about times.
Knowing you guys, if you got a movie you'd probably want to see something that Notch doesn't want to see.
I say you rent an inflatable trampoline that's shaped like a temple. Then set Notch in it and worship him.
Of course, likely MinecraftCon 2011 will be held in Europe. 'Tis a shame.

I'm in Bremerton, so anywhere in KP or Seattleish is cool with me. And no movie please...
I'm sure it will be in bellevue, since that it where notch is staying, it would be kinda a inconvenience if notch had to get a cab or rent a car to seattle or something. That is why I have been mentioning stuff within walking distance of valve.
I would go but I'm 15 so you'd have to deal with that, besides the fact that i'm sure just about nobody else will either be a) near my age or :cool.gif: not awkward to hang out with. I could bring my friend and maybe we'd go, but don't put us on the list yet.
ALSO: Protip: People who can't go, stop going "I WISH I COULD COME BUT I LIVE IN ZIMBABWE LUL ISNT THAT FUNNY" because this is for Seattle/Bellevue area d00dz and it's kind of a no brainer that you aren't going to go somewhere to meet a Swedish guy in Washington (unless you're going to Pike Place, there might be a lot of Swedes there... hey notch should go there and get some ideas! But I digress)
ALSOx2: Nobody else is "fjsij39oso9gij349ya"- stlye furious geekhappy about Notch going to Valve?
I'd love to go except I'm being a hermit right now (in Bellingham). And getting into the area is such a pain in the ****. Anyone outside of that area should consider carpooling. Whoever was in Marysville had a good idea.
Me and a couple of friends from the Silverdale area will most likely be coming. It'll probably take an hour/hour and a half to get there though, so a later time would work best.

I'm in Port Orchard as well.

Granted, but my poor sheltered mother might not let me go regardless... You guys could be internet rapists!
Sadly, I lack the car, and the funds to be there, as I am 14. :sad.gif:
