Ok, i was thinking about indev a moment ago, and a thought came to mind. If you were to build a wall on the edge of the map, in the ocean, and then dig a bit of a hole in the water, would you drain the ocean around the island?? I think it'd be cool. So, what are your thoughts? :?:
Entirely possible. With the current glitchy physics, you don't even need to dig a hole. Making a block at the same level as the water and then deleting it will cause that whole layer of water to go away- albeit very slowly.
What fun!
also, PROTIP: Use gravel to build walls VERY easily- clicking at the top and it will just all drop down to the bottom. Fun stuff. Better be playing on peaceful though- creepers cause you to instantly LOSE because of wall breaches :sad.gif:
No, not the whole ocean, but all the water that the player can build in, can be drained using this technique, which i call "DRAINING OCEAN TECHNIQUE!!!!!!"
