While they can make things easier on the ops (they don't have to go and fetch players from the spawn), it also means that regulars have to go through the maze each time they get on, since it's difficult for an op to go and grab them without letting anyone else who's in there out at the same time. I think that if you're going for something like this, you should just use a regular spawn jail. It's much more efficient and it makes things much easier overall.

its great if you have JTE. you can just use /fetch to get the regulars out, and if they ARE regulars, they should have memorized the maze. thats what happenes on one my servers a few months ago, and i barely got any grief, even w/o honycombing the celing. now that more people know how to sand hack, that extra piece of security is needed thogh.

Give me an internet, or Chuck Norris will kill you!!!
I personally think that they help filter out griefers, but can still be irritating for builders.
What do you think?
If you got patience, you're good. And it can be fun.
If you don't got patience, you're an idiot in a manner, but you might have a legit reason.
All in all, you should always have fun no matter what the situation is.

so while a maze is fun, it's not right for a spawn

Why is it not right for a spawn? I honeycombed the ceiling and everything.

Um, sand hack was fixed.
Maze annoy me, I never put up with mazes. I either ask they let me out or I just leave.
