I made a Spleef arena, and we've played a bit, and it's been a bit surprisingly enjoyable. While building another house, an idea hit me for another sport...
It's just about as simple as Spleef...
There are a set number of rings of varied height (size and shape would be determined by the stadium's architect). For my initial stadium (as can be seen) I made 4 rings.
Players start in the designated "box" whether they're on red or blue. By their own discretion, or the "gunshot" of another person in-game, they will begin the race.
Players cannot use hacks, run, or fly, and must build their own stairs (preferably of their own color), while being allowed to destroy their opponent's stairs in getting through each ring. Rings must be cleared in succession. A variation of the game would allow players to clear whatever ring they like, until all are cleared, which would probably feature less "fighting" and destroying.
involving more players and having 2 teams seems to definitely have benefits too. More variations in gameplay like one builder and one destroyer... one ring jumper, only one person needs to cross the finish line
I've got a server for me and friends.
