I've been working on re-creating the world map of the original NES version of Dragon Quest. Here are some shots of what I've managed so far. It will likely take me another 2-3 months to complete as this rate. What do you guys think so far?
A quick update: The island the Dragonlord's castle sits on, minus the coastlines, is done. After that, will be the northern entrance of the Swamp Cave and north to Kol and the the top corner of the map.

A youtube vid might be cool, but I'm a ways off from that. I had Lufia 2 back in the day, too. I still replay the Sinistral boss battle theme on Youtube once in a while.

Cool project! You should make a video on Youtube, reviewing your work once you have finnished it.
I love those old rpg's. My first was Lufia 2 - Rise of the sinistrals for the SNES.
I gave those old games a try some years ago and had a great time.
From the visuals i would say that Yoshis Island is by far the most beautiful video game.
My projects:
-are abandoned for now. I might pick 'em up in the future.
For now i'm working on a private modpack that suit's my own playstyle.
I am gonna stay in modded 1.12.2 untill my potato dies. No mercy! :Q
