Can you help me please? Im running Windows PE/Windows 10 Bedrock 1.14 edition of MC
I've included some screenshots. Im leveraging the villager-panic mechanic which spawns Iron Golems to use in an auto-iron farm. However, despite thinking I've built this correctly, the villagers will not spawn Iron Golems.
Here are my assumptions;
Each villager has a work block, a bed and can see the zombie to in effect, 'panic'
All the block distances are correct, (even though I'm not quite sure how a Iron Golem would spawn on the roof)
I've used light to ensure nothing erroneous spawns within the farm
I'm leaving it long enough to work
You can assume my chest, dropper, and water/lava set up is a-ok
I can only assume this doesnt work in the version of Minecraft I'm using OR I've done something stupid
You should find a tutorial for Bedrock, unless the Wiki hasn't been updated Bedrock iron golem generation is very different than in Java, it appears Bedrock uses the mechanism that Java used to have where iron golems spawn based on there being at least 21 beds and 10 villagers.
thats really interesting. Firstly, can I apologise, realise I've posted this in the wrong section. Feel free Mods to move it.
As for the question, well, I had watched them using the work block (in this case I just used a barrel) and initially saw them doing work (the little stars that appear) but actually, I'm not sure they are working now, all they are doing is moving around and spinning.
As I think about it, its very possible I've not given them enough space based on what you've said - do they just need to stand next to a work block to be able to use it, I had used a block above to keep them in, but now think I need to expand the little cages I've built for them?

Also you might get more answers from people with experience in iron farms in Bedrock if you post this in the Bedrock section of the forums.

Just testing.

No. it appears that Bedrock and Java have very different golem spawning mechanisms so you need to find a design specifically for Bedrock.
If you refresh the page, I've changed my original answer.
Just testing.
thank you all!
