Howdy I have heard that if you already own the bedrock version of minecraft on xbox (NOT the xbox version) then you already have the windows version for your PC. However i have tried looking and searching from the xbox store on my computer to previously installed and can not find out if I actually have the windows version or not. It seems like i've done extensive research but i can not find an answer to this problem.
If anyone is more knowledgeable on this topic please correct or help me!!! many Thank!!!
You are correct, but you will need to know the account you bought the game from so you can log in with that account. You also need to know what version you got because Windows has a version of Minecraft that you get when you download on the computer, so with that being said; if you have the windows 10 version on that console, then you should be able to get the game on your computer without having to purchase it again. You will go to Microsoft Store, then look up Minecraft Windows 10 edition, and then click on that game and install it, but with making sure you bought that version on your console.
