Do you ever get the feeling not a soul is on this forum anymore ? At least not for console Bedrock...it's like you can hear Crickets chirp into the night..btw M$ changed the rating of Bedrock Ed (far Worse together) after the Aquatic Update. It was a paltry 2 1/2 to 3 stars and then almost overnight it became a 5 star rated Game/Edition....Micro$oft Magic...lol. They're almost as bad as Apple these days.
Sadly I don't bear news of any kind, good or bad. The graphics team is still hard at work and, last time they did an internal presentation on their progress, they are doing awesome. But I can't say much more than that. Progress is being made, the graphics team has been given the time to work their magic and from what I have seen it will pay off. Sorry for the super duper delay and the lack of updates. Did you notice they used some footage from the E3 Super Duper trailer during X018? No clue how that got in there, but it hurt a little. Not sure if that was a mistake from someone on our team or higher up at Xbox but it wasn't meant as a hint as far as I know, just stock footage.

No worries! I will answer with as much information as I can. There are still a lot of details up in the air, but transparency is very important on the team so a lot of unanswered questions are usually more about "we don't know yet" rather than "we aren't telling yet" kind of deals
I can't give even a hint to how far away the release is. On one hand, I don't have enough information (the work on this is secretly guarded by the Graphics Team and I'm no graphics dev :P), and on the other hand we have missed so many dates and time frames in the past that we are no longer making date commitments unless there's a physical release involved (e.g. the Switch retail release had a time frame and then a release date both announced).
There will be major differences between platforms based on the capabilities of the hardware, but what those will be is hard to tell until we are in a position where the graphics engine is "finished" and proper testing can be done. This might change by the time we release, but the last time I was involved with Super Duper the idea was that, much like render distance, you would get a default "known good" pre-set, but have the option of turning features on/off. Turning them all on Switch might not be as smooth as doing so on the X obviously
The plan is for the pack to have many options for you to choose yes. If you look at packs like PureBDCraft on the Marketplace today it's a similar idea (BDCraft for example has multiple levels of quality you can choose when applying the pack). What those options will be though is up in the air so no promises on what they will be, but the tech is there to support multiple options!
Do you think they're ever going to release it? Or do you think it's been forgotten and lost among a sea of unkept promises?
