i use natural... i might try out fantasy or one of the mash-ups next, if i ever get another one.
i don't really care for the city texture pack, i don't like the look of most of the blocks (ores, stone ect) most of the enemies... it does have nice torches though.
Natural is the one I seem to always go back to. But I like City & fantasy. (I would use the fantasy one always if the wooden doors & windows weren't lined with gold)
I like the city texture pack and the natural tex pack. The only thing about natural texture pack I don't like is the look of stone. A bit of a problem, since I mine a LOT. In city texture pack, stone looks nice and smooth, but the furnaces look odd (like modern ovens,) and sometimes items in your inventory take a second or third look to figure out. The fantasy texture pack looks nice overall, except for the glass blocks are lined with gold, making them look strange. Also, some of the tools on your inventory will look a little odd, for example, flint and steel.....I use all of these, though, and I can't go back to default. I hope more texture packs come out.
Personally, I use the Skyrim Mash-up pack. I still play Skyrim on my 360 so I like the look of it even on Minecraft haha. I just cant wait for the Dr. Who pack to finally come out.
I like City. I thought Natural would be my favorite but some of the ores are difficult to see. I can't think of anything I don't like about the City pack though.
I mostly use the City texture pack as I like the way everything looks but I also like the vibrant feel of the Cartoon texture pack.
I used to use the Natural texture pack but it annoyed me how Iron blended in with the stone in caves.
This is close to how I feel. It's a crying shame that the Natural pack swapped the textures for smooth stone and cobblestone. That alone makes it generally useless to me. The City pack is perfect, except for turning much of the art into facades. It has become my default pack. I'll switch to the Cartoon pack occasionally. It's bright and cheery, and very useful for exploring the nether.
