I wish there was a way to go back to a particular Title Update, as lots of my redstone stuff has been broken since TU54 came out. I'd gladly go back to before that one, if I could, until they've fixed all the problems. Not sure I'd fare any better by going all the way back to TU1 though. My console would probably just re-download the latest update, and I'd be back where I started.

Hi, I'm Augur and I'm from New Zealand (NZ). Just call me "Augur". I'm an older person playing Minecraft Xbox 360 Legacy Console Edition without Xbox Gold (no online gaming, sorry), so please don't hate on the old. 😄
Here is how to get your Minecraft back to TU1*
*depends on when you bought the game!!!
1. Go to Xbox Dashboard > Settings
2. Go to Storage (settings)
3. Select 'All Storage Devices', then 'Games', and find Minecraft Title Update, then delete it OR move it to a flash drive (recommended)
4. Open Minecraft, and, tada!

You forgot a step turn the internet on your xbox off so it doesn't force you to update again
