I have had a lot of fun from the Minecraft story mode, and I was thinking that custom stories would be great. Now I know that making cutscenes wouldn't be probable for user made levels, but what about the rest? I don't see what could be so hard with having users easily make their own dialogue, making easy choices and combat. It is pretty close to making mods. What is your opinion on this?

I own the Nine Realms servers. I also help people with their servers as well as professionalize in web developing. You can contact me on Skype at mandler119 for help.
As creative and intuitive that would be, things like that require some painfully extra trial-and-error development, since you're making something that requires almost any possibility of something (block placements, animations, choices, etc). I know just a bit of that from experience.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.

Not denying that this isn't a good idea, it would require tons of work from Telltale and Mojang to make it work. If you look at Telltale's previous games, there wern't any level editors (or there might be... I don't play their games often)

I completely agree! Although modding would be a not so good idea I could completely see you making a map in Minecraft and in MCSM going and adding characters, combat, dialog, etc. Cutscenes could be simply characters moving around and having scripted places, kinda like RPG Maker. However more advanced cutscenes are right out.
I think it is possible, but seeing as all of the other telltale games don't have level editors, we may not get one. But, this is Minecraft...
