So im new to minecraft so looking to find out a few things . I am creating a new world on minecraft ps4 survival and everytime i create a new world i seem to just get put into one where there is an over aboundance of water and hardly any land, im wondering if this is normal or is it just a case of creating a new world until i start of on one i like ?
You've had some bad luck, that's all. You can keep trying fully random worlds and take what you get. Or, there are on-line tools available that will give you a preview of what the world will look like based on the seed ... be sure to use the appropriate tool for the version of MInecraft you are playing (Bedrock or Legacy Console).
If you would like a nice world but do not want to see a preview of it, then you have another option. You can use a world seed that someone else recommends, and take their word that the seed produces a nice world. There are thousands of published seeds for Java/LCE, and lots for Bedrock as well.
