I understand that and it sucks, but from Mojangs point of view, why should they support such an old system, when most of their players are on newer rigs.

There are no limits on the bedrock edition, which this forum section is for. Which console are you talking about?
The older systems have a limited amount of memory, so entities are limited so that they game to still attempt to run with lagging horrendously.

The ps3 is an old piece of junk by now, there will be no more updates for it.
Yeah, but it's what's out in the livingroom. The PS4 is in the bedroom. I'm not anywhere near being a gamer, just an old man who likes building stuff.
