On PS3 in survival mode I have found and enclosed four turtles in a 5x12 space with a 2x6x3 water and seaweed space. I am feeding them seaweed and hearts come up but none of them are making love and eggs. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.
At least in the Java version they need sand, presumably dry, to lay their eggs on.
Also they will only lay eggs on the beach they were born on.
If you're lucky that will be where they are otherwise you need to let them out and follow the one that is going to lay the eggs back to its home beach.
If you have a Silk Touch pick I believe you can pick up the eggs and move them to another beach, the turtles that are born there should lay eggs there.

Just testing.
That makes sense. They were on sand but are probably from another beach
