Slimes spawning above ground and sometime in small hordes of up to 3 large Slimes
Blaze Spawning in great numbers everywhere in and around a Nether Fortress
All these issues are reported form normal difficulty.
According to minecraft wiki slimes are meant to spawn in swamp areas under certain light conditions. Don't think this is a bug...more like a fix. As for the blaze not sure if its considered "normal activity" or not.....but sure interferes with wither skeleton hunting. I'd be happy to confine them just to the 2 spawners personally.
While i'm here I'll report another issue. Leaderboards have NOT been fixed. They're updating once more and you can move in rank again but I've dropped from 5th spot (kills - easy mode) to 10th in a matter of days. If you look at the new top 9 you can't tell me that those numbers haven't been hacked. Allowing cheaters to post up bogus stats is not a fix 4J and obvious hacked score (like 30,000 spider jockey kills...c'mon now) should be removed.

I understand that but there are TONS OF THEM every night and according to the wiki it only suppose to be a rare chance that is higher depending on the night and moon however I have EXPed this every night for over 5 minecraft nights, I am finding this mostly in my older worlds created at the start of PS3 Minecraft, I think the addition of new mobs is prompting high activity and spawns of other mobs, last night I actually saw a skeleton spawn in the over world at night, and according to the Wiki there not suppose to spawn if there within view distance yet they are. Now again im only noticing this in older worlds created before lots of stuff was added so I think the fact that the patches added the new mobs in to old worlds is causing Spawn glitches.
PS created a new world same difficulty same found the Nether fortress and there are barely any Blaze outside the spawn and I have not seen a single above ground slime in the over world
Fair call. Could well be a bug then like you said. Strange it only happens with the older worlds....but there are a lot of "strange" things in the game ATM.

There has been a freeze that happens every time to me since tu19, still a problem in tu21. The system freezes when you exit a world and re-enter a world, it happens to me every time. I would say this is a bug that needs fixing.
With the latest update, i am now unable to jump stack droppers facing upward to create elevators. Before the update i could. Is this intended or just another bug?
even though i can get them to stack with those 2 block gaps, it still shoots the items out the side even though they are facing up.
In The Latest Update I have Found 2 Really Irritating Bugs. 1. Whenever I Try to place a Piston Facing Upwards(Usually by jumping up and placing it) Its Changes its Direction to somewhere else ...... I have tried to place it from every Angle but Failed to make it face upwards.
2.Whenever I Exit from a Server or even exit after dying,Loading the Server Again makes it Hang after a few Seconds ...... Like I am killed by a creeper and I Exit without saving and when I load back to same server it will Hang a few seconds later. So the only way to Quit game is by Resetting the Whole PS3.
Had a similar issue building a blaze spawner trap for a friend. Pistons would not always align where I wanted them. Was putting them in horizontally but the game would jump and Pistons would face downwards instead. During that short build my system froze once one the hosts system did it once as well. Let's face it....the way Minecraft is at the moment (with SO many bugs) it's like watching a good friend develop a terminal illness.

I like how we all complain about these problems but the harsh reality is, if we can't reproduce these errors every single time the same way each time, then the errors or bugs DO NOT EXIST. Or step 2 to that, is many people have to have the same bug or error and be able to reproduce (like previous) This is QA mentality.
Just like Lag is passed of as internet issue/provider/network. But you could talk till your blue in the face about having redline high speed and still get lag in Minecraft... lol QA is in house, therefore these issues that regular normal users get are harder to reproduce if it isn't a blatant issue like a texture pack issue that is seen. fix lag > texture pack issues.
I have been having this error for a while now, I want to know what is happening, I restart PS3 and Modem but nothing happens to fix it. Any Suggestions
All the animals keep glitching and escaping from pens and fences?
This is frustrating.
Anyone else having this issue with the update?
Not with animals but with villagers yes. They tend to "clip" through walls in small spaces. What might work (and I say might as I've not tested it) is running a 1 block deep water channel on the inside of your farm pens.....sorta like a inside moat. It helpped me stop villagers clipping through walls when I was building my iron farms. Goodluck anyway. Hope it works.

In regards to the issue of dispenser/droppers/pistons/sticking pistons;
For 4J: The issue only seems to happen when the player places one of these blocks within a 2.5 block radius of where they are placing it.
To players: The only way I have found to fix this issue is to stand more than 2.5 blocks away from where you want to place the block. So if youre trying to make a droper elevator, just pillar up 3 blocks next to the previous dropper and you should be able to place the dropper facing up.
Horses seem to stutter/lag/skip while running, momentarily pausing for a fraction of a second while being ridden. My horse is equipped with diamond armor, havent had the oppurnity to try on an un-armord horse, not that many in my seed.
PLaying Single Player, Online mode, doesn't matter what difficulty setting, and in Survival mode, using City Texture Pack.
It's so bad that I prefer not to even use the horse anymore because it seems it's faster to just run to where I need to be now.
I've rebuilt my PS3 slim's database because I thought that might help, thinking it might be the problem even though the system is brand new, but it didn't help. Searching Google it seems that it is a known problem on the PC version and whatever bug it had seems to be affecting the consol version now too.
EDIT-horses without armor also do the same Tried to see if texture packs had something to do with it and used the default tp and it still does the same thing, Also threw a saddle on a pig to see if the same stuttering effect would happen and Yes, yes it did. Pigs stutter also just like Horses.
Every time I start my online game I will be playing for about 3 minutes and then it will switch to offline mode. It also happens when I join somebody's game. My Internet is fine it doesn't sign me out when this happens. But it's been happening for about a week now. Help would be much appreciated.

very laggy in a chunk/mob grinder that has lots and lots of signs

Indeed we are. A community of minecrafters united by bugs!
