Hi guys this happeno to me today on a world that I've spent 2 years on. It started today I went to look for my world on the minecraft menu and it wasnt there so I went to my saved data utility and it said the save had been corrupted so plz anyone who recovered there corrupted saves plz tell me on this or send me a message on psn oh my psn name is sangriffin thanks guys😪
If you have playstation plus you might be able to utilize their online storage for the recovery of the game. Just a thought
Hi I'm posting here to let you guys know this issue can still persist while playing split screen. Short story even shorter, I quit after dying and was notified of a damaged save when I tried to reload. Full details was posted in the below link:
Wow I was ready to cry when my save disappeared. I was happily playing split screen with my friends it auto saved then I turned everything off and such. Then the next day the whole save was just gone. The name and everything, it's like as if I deleted it. Thought I know I didn't and now I don't know how to get it back
I just gotten the game last Christmas 2017 so far had 3 corrupted saves one me and step dad played last 3 months said corrupted save yesterday then we made new game played 3 hours was find this morning but after I went on there to work on it now saying corrupted data my stepdad really won't be happy might blamed me
This is still happening in 2018... Minecraft for ps3. I only just had it happen since playing multi-player. Never on a save that was only ever single player. I only just got a second working controller a few weeks ago and since then I've had it happen 4 times. It happens when I'm playing in the save by myself and with split screen. It usually happens when I exit without saving after dying. Would be really nice to get to play with my nieces again without every world we make being corrupted.

I honestly hope my map can be save but if it can't then the very least figure out why the save got damaged and fix the code responsible.
It's 2015 and still no fix to this problem?
Getting real tired of this.

The other was a solo single play game
Before i update my MC the Corruption i encounter are
- Killed by a Drown w/ a Trident
- Fell in a Lava
- Just Falling in a high place
- Killed by a Drown without a trident
- Drown under water
- Blown by a Creeper
For the update 1.77 there are no Corruption on Death as of now.
