Has anyone managed to figure out how to rotate blocks? The forum has not been update to include PS3 edition controls and the game settings does not explain this either.
The PC version has _______ and the console version doesn't.

It's best to forget thinking they're the same.
Is that just something organic to the console versions? Because I know that you can rotate and place stairs and logs etc on the pc version.
You can't rotate them on the PC version. You have to be facing a certain direction whilst you place them. If you place a log at your feet it will be facing up, but if you place a log against a wall in front of you it will be facing towards you. Similar case with stairs, where you have to face the way you want the stairs to be facing or aim at the top half of a block if you want the stairs to become upside down.

Exactly correct, and I believe that works for most blocks on the PC version, but on the console versions that only works with stairs and planks right now. On the console versions stairs and planks can be placed upside down if you attach it to the underside of another block, but other blocks like oak wood, for example, will be placed vertically no matter what.
All help would be appreciated!
