I've spent over an hour now trying to get my game to open on my switch but it takes super long just to load up the game and most times it just barely makes it to the loading screen and then I get an error and it closes the game. And just to see how it would work, I tried to open minecraft on a different profile and it worked perfectly fine. I tried redownloading the game, I reset my switch, and I can't even count how many times I've tried now to get it to open. The furthest I got was trying to get into one of my worlds and it crashed before the world loaded up. I have no idea what to do to fix this
I've been getting intermittent crashes, and for some reason, making a new world fixes it. I just make a survival world with a random name and exit it as soon as it finishes loading, then I can load my existing saves.
I don't know if it's the same issue that you're having, but I was about to post my own thread asking about my crashing. I'll try the corrupt data check first though. Thanks @Digicraft66
