Bought a Nintendo Switch and Minecraft for my daughter. Spent 30+ minutes signing up for Microsoft and Nintendo accounts (both of which require my credit card) so that we can play over WiFi. Guess what? Ain't happening unless I pay Nintendo a monthly fee for the privilege. Funny how they require a fee for a game they didn't create. I wish I had known all of this before. I would have spent my money on something useful! Had I bought her a laptop, we'd have the access to Minecraft over the network and she'd be able to use it how she likes. Instead I wasted over $300 on this POS that is good for a single player only.
It's literally only 20 dollars for an entire year, and it is for all of the games that have multiplayer, and is much cheaper than most other game consoles, also good luck finding a laptop worth anything for 300 dollars
