I have a flat world in Minecraft - the newest version for the Nintendo Switch. Is there a setting that will change the amount of blocks you can dig under the ground in the world? If there is, where is it located? Thanks in advance!
When you generate a default flat world you only get four layers, bedrock, 2 dirt and one grass. If you look at your coords you will see that you are at y5 when you stand on the grass. There is no mining the bedrock, and even if you remove it (there are ways), you cannot do anything under y0.
These worlds were meant to be used in creative as a kind of blank slate for builders. They do not randomly generate ores, caves, lava, etc.
