Do you guys use the standard controls while playing on the switch? I have so many issues but I haven't found the set up that works just right for me yet.. Should I just keep playing with the normal controls and get used to it?
I always play with Invert Look ticked. And I tend to map sprint to the left analog stick's button. I don't generally change the camera mode anyway, so this is fine for me, and allows sprinting a little more easily.
Another important thing is using the D-pad (or equivalent) to quickly move the cursor around in inventory screens, including wrapping round from left to right, top to bottom.
I too use invert look, but that's because I fly RC planes and mode 2 is natural to me. I am completely content with the controls for the Switch version. Sure, sprint mode could be better, but at this point I am used to it and find myself trying to sprint by double tapping the left stick in Zelda now.. I really do like the Switch version and everything just flows to me. It all just comes together in one package for me.
The Switch has quickly become my favorite platform for Minecraft, and I think the default controls are comfortable and natural. Although I think you could probably grow to become comfortable to any set up eventually.

yeah, over the past few days i just switched it to default. However, I don't like how the crouch is tapping in the right thumb stick. I might change it to something else, just not sure what yet.
Can someone help me, my wee sister got minecraft for the Nintendo switch lite and when she moves the left stick forward her character moves backwards in game. How do I fix this? Also she only has two hairstyles and it won’t let her choose any other ones. I know these might be stupid questions but I don’t have a clue about minecraft at all.
