hey all, something more interesting & useful in survival to show you, this here is the largest of the 2 latest designs i have, it uses standard shifting floors, but with uniquely controlled timings, allowing mobs to fall seemlessly into the waterway, even from the top floor, this version shown is 33x23x35, the smaller version is roughly half at 33x23x19, & exactly half the spawn pods, each pod consists of 3 floors, & the full unit has 6 floors total, in offset formations (basicly a smaller version spun 180 & attached to another), allowing pack spawning on multiple floors simultaniously, timings on main clock are designed to give a 2-tick pulse through ensuring all spawned mobs are forced through, & work with the best delay to work with spawn average aswell as reduce lag.
On average this beast produces around 6.5-7k items/hr, while the smaller version produces roughly 5-5.5k/hr, easily achieving 30 in less then 4-7min for both versions, & allows the following mobs:
the dropshaft design is 30blocks high to kill witches, & the bulk in the center is an automatic softener (water) controlled below on the 21rst block allowing xp farming.
the droppad design is obsidian reinforced, designed for 0 agro, 0 loss even afk (no items lost even falling around pad), and features a unique ability to turn on a 100% agro mode (that skeles still cant shoot through), turning it into an automatic music disc generator, got 35 discs in 5 minutes on an older version of the grinder o.O
the sorting system features 14 sorted items in 8 chests, & 2 random chests, once any included filter is filled, any overflow is automaticly diverted to the grinders automatic disposal (which is also accessable via a double chest, or dropping items on one specific tile on the floor) as to not overflow into another system, & all aspects are completely configurable via a hidden maintenance room.
some of the pics being uploaded are survival, & some of creative, for those saying you cant build it in survival, just finished it, had to tear out the old one first >.<, the survival pics are 100% survival, no hosts/etc. the creative ones are the same map, but another save
**PIC INFO***
First pic is on top of the maintenance room, looking uo at the completed system, the blocks sticking out on the sides represent individual portals, they are positioned above the waterway, to not effect spawns, but back one block to not catch falling mobs, the little box below on the dropshaft is my piston controlled waterway, allowing mobs to live, & be pushed more to the center of the pad ^^
i made it mostly out of obsidian and endstone because i have to much on hand (~26 double chests of endstone, ~2.5 of obsidian)
Pic #2 is a average drop test result, this test was the average between the 4 results available when this pic was taken, & totals 1,152 items btw
these tests are all offline & 100% controlled and ran for exactly 10 minutes, with 5 minutes downtime followed by a 1min flush before continuing, while positioned directly in front of drop pad area (all 100% automatic)
Pic #3 is part of the system used to control each test, those familiar with redstone might recognize the counters, this segment is my realtime stopwatch, the first set farthest back is 10 long (seconds) i initially had 2 for when one was in reset, & had a nice toggle allowing it to alternate, i could make this way smaller now, my new counter is similar, but can now eccept input as fast as 4 ticks, & can technicly reset in that time, & immediately accept input o.O, this system counts to 10, multiplies by 6, then multiplies that by 10, & is hooked up to a 1 second clock giving it 10min, this then feeds back into the grinder overriding the t-flip-flop & powers down & initializes reset.
Pic#4 is of the drop pad, which is only visible by a 1/2 slab, if you stand outside the stone slab area (or about 1/2 a block from the pad) it is 0 agro, the lamp on the right controls xp mode, & on the left enables the farm itself.
pic #5 is of the main room, showing 1 wall of sorters, & the back room, the back room features an enderchest, 2 anvils, 2 max level enchanting tables, 2 crafting tables & a sky view of the terrain o.O
the chest by the window is the same on the other side, & is an automatic disposal unit, same with the slightly visible stone slab in the center of the entrance.
