I realize this is small potatoes to the mavericks around here, but last night I built a giant Dodongo in survival mode and I think he looks just spiffy, so I wanted to share. I don't usually do builds like this and this guy is my first one.
Thank you! It's stained clay in the Fantasy Pack. Orange, brown and white.
The rail just goes up to it, it was the fastest way to get supplies from the river to the statue for building.
However directly under the Dodongo statue is a recreation of the second Labyrinth from the original Legend of Zelda (again, all done in survival). Clearing out 18 7x12 block rooms is a great way to stockpile cobblestone, gravel, dirt, iron ore and coal. The Dodongo stands above the Triforce room. (I'm a Zelda nerd)
Thank you. I have always feared of making anything out of wool for fear of lightning. I realize this is in the desert, but it's just become habit. Amen for stained clay so I can now make all kinds of different things!

i always worry about building out of wool.. i used it more back before the update that gave us stained clay. But of the stuff I did build (some quite large) I haven't had any lightning problems.
Good job doing that in survival mode! Keep crafting!

That's impressive. One that you can remember the labyrinth from that old of a game and your efforts to detail it out in Minecraft. I'd be lucky to remember a labyrinth from Skyward Sword of Twilight Princess, :-) Well done.
And now I know about stained clay ....

looks pretty neat, what blocks is it made out of, wool?
Also, does that minecart rail go under it? That looks pretty neat.

Looks great. Bonus originality points for not making it out of wool.

UPDATE! I've since built an Aquamentus and Manhandla. The Manhandla was super tall!
Most excellent pixel arts. I approve as a fellow Zelda nerd myself on your accomplishments in the MineCrafts.
