Okay, so I'm kind of newish to minecraft. I usually end up turning of monsters "just for now" in a lot of my worlds, "just while I look for a place for my base" >.> And.. yeah. I get all caught up in being creative that I don't want creepers to blow up my pretty things, so that becomes "Until I creeper proof it" etc etc.
I decided to start a new world, where I would leave monsters on, and actually play the game to fight things, and try and get to the End, ad the Nether, and all that stuff. The seed that I randomly had chosen for me was:
Very VERY close to the spawn point (as in... just go to the top of the hill to the second jungle pond over), there appears to be a mini castle, made of mossy stone, and stone. Without giving me too many spoilers about what cool things I might find in there, any one have any idea just how special this is? As I said, I haven't played much before, but I know that strongholds are a thing, but I've also read that the stone parts don't spawn above ground... And that if they intersect with air/the surface, you will instead get pretty much a room without walls/cieling. But this almost looks like a castle tower from a buried castle sticking up out of the jungle. Haven't explored much, as I was too scared to go in without proper gear, but there appear to be 3 switches or something right near the first entry, and some stairs going down into a larger structure.
