I've been searching for a good seed for a few days and this one was the best I've found by far. I'll provide coordinates below, but if you do wish to explore the map on your own, do not read any of the lines below the seed.

Thanks of this. We've been struggling to find a good seed since the U14 update but have been frustrated with the glitches preventing chickens from spawning. I tried this seed since thee U15 update and all is working again (despite a few non critical issues remaining)
I'm setup to make my first foray into the nether. Anybody found the best spot on overworld to get into the nether fortress?
I put mine in the town that's just two libraries (quite literally between them) around x325 z296. It put me in the fortress right in front of a blaze spawner. I'd try a different place nearby though, as I get attacked every time I go through.
Finally found an Emerald block, coordinates x:89 y:28 Z:-373. Be careful if you dig down to it, it's in the ceiling of a large chamber and the drop could be nasty :-). Not much else down there, some iron and redstone, but it was a neat find. I got 6 emeralds out of it with and Diamond pickaxe/Fortune III.
