Within my Singleplayer survival underground base, I have a main area that has multiple passages to other areas of my base (See Attached Screenshots). I like the look of the room, but I am blanking upon ideas to make the room feel less "empty" in a sense. If anyone would have any ideas, that would be a huge help! Please suggest any ideas that you would have. Also, any ideas to improve the aesthetics of the room, please mention those as well! Thanks.
This is a really nice room, but I suggest to add some furniture into it, and also add some shrubbery. That should add a little more to it, in order to complete the entire room, but the architecture looks really good so good job on that!

You have a very detailed ceiling, but the floor itself is rather boring. Perhaps do something there would help make it look less 'empty'. Then add benches near the bottom of the stairs with potted trees next to them.
I had a base in a previous world that had a hall leading from the entry door to the first room. The ceiling was a skylight, the walls were lined with chests with the various trees (all 6) for the farm just outside the door. The floor itself was just glass blocks and under those glass blocks was nothing...all the way to bedrock. I lit up the area at the bottom as well.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. I will face my fear. I will let it pass over me and through me, and when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
I forgot to mention it was about 3x10 in size. Not large, but when you first rush into the door at night while being chased by whattheheckever it did cause temporary panic. I use a custom resource pack, so my clear glass is actually clear with a thin border, so it's like the floor isn't there at all.
My typical method of decorating my interiors is to bring in as much nature as possible while keeping the entire look clean. For example see the attached pic. That's my usual storage area that is lined with 1x1 dark oak trees around the interior perimeter. Occasionally I'll replace the stone in the floor with grass blocks. Hidden under the carpet in certain places are 1x1 chests as well.

Try adding furniture.Tables, chairs, benches, and even a TV with a scene made out of wool or a painting encased in glass.
Now for stuff that isn't aesthetic. If you have tamed wolves or ocelots, you could make a small area for them for when you don't need them.

My thoughts were either a grand hanging chandelier in the center OR statues/manicured trees in planters to the left and right past the stairs.
Also perhaps some banners and/or suits of armor on stands if that suits your taste.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

I suggest lamps.
How to use lamps? Flower pot containing a cactus. On the block above it put Glowstone or a Redstone Lamp.
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
Thanks Guys!
Great Ideas. Huge help. Thanks again
