The Overgrown Creeper is a special type of creeper that spawns in the savanna (or swamp, but since swamps already have witches I'm going with savanna) biome.
This creeper looks slightly bigger then the normal creeper and has the colour of dead grass. The explosion has the same strength, but when you are hit by it, you get nausea for 30 seconds.
If you manage to kill it, you get an item called creeper moss. It can be used to create 3 gunpowder if put alone in a crafting table. If it is put in a 2 by 2 format vines are crafted.
You can also place it on leaves, and over time more moss is generated on nearby leaves.
The moss is basicaly an easier way to get gunpowder, and the overgrown creeper is a more threatening version of the normal creeper.

Well yes, but I think we shouldn't add to the problem of buffing needlessly. If you are dead set on this idea then buff the drops and maybe have it gain a savanna colour scheme instead of just enlarging and darkening a creeper. Sorry if this is rude or unhelpful.

Sorry, by 'buff the drops' I mean make the drops more viable and useful than just the……oh the moss produces three gunpowder not three moss produces one gunpowder. Oops! However you gave me no info on how much health this mob has..or did you and I just didn't see it. And for the colour of dead grass, the stuff in my yard its lighter than alive grass. Thanks for the civil reply.
I think I could do without a stronger variant of an infamous troll mob. I also don't see any point of the creeper moss? If all you can do with it is to craft it into gunpowder, why doesn't it just drop straight gunpowder? And half a minute of nausea? Nah, I'm good. Thanks though.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
While I agree we need more mobs that spawn in different biomes (my personal favorites are piranha in jungle rivers, Various Big cats in savanna/snowy biomes etc, Bees/Hives in forest biomes) I don't like the idea of modified existing mobs much.
Don't really like the Husk/Strays that much - would've liked a totally different mob like a Wraith instead of the Husk, strays aren't too bad IMHO but we've already got a skelly alt as it is so having an alternate creeper addition... no thanks

As human beings, we can teach, invent and discover, but if we can't do any of that we can at the very least be honest.
I think a Creeper is hard enough without giving it more buffs (nausea). So, I think I'll pass on this one.

The same can be said on the skeleton, yet they added the stray.

This would be better suited for jungles, I feel. Since it's mostly based on foliage, jungles are perfect.
You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games
Well, when I said darker meant like dead grass. I just didn't know how to say it. I'll change it now. Also, what do you mean by "buff the drops"?
