Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "suggestion"
...I'm sure you've all heard of "enderpearls" - the legendary and coveted enderman drop that is tied to the realm beyond our "Overworld" ... able to teleport the user with a simple "flick of the wrist" so to say -__-
Well... imagine if we combined this piece of knowledge with another , as science often does... this will be a discovery that will marvel and improve gameplay in all regards - trust me, it would be unwise not to -__-
Using the inherent properties of the "slimeball" I believe we should be able to combine multiple enderpearls into a "cube" ((similar to how combining multiple slimeballs will result in a "slimecube")) :2 ... combining these 2 properties will yield what we are after ... the "SLIME ENDERCUBE" This is truly an epic item - trust me -__-
Regardless -__- ... despite having an epic name, what use is it to us, the minecraftites, if it has no function? -__- well, here is where things get epic... recall as was previously explained that the enderpearl is tied to the "End" realm... using this property it can "teleport" blocks it comes into contact with back into the realm of the enderman... pretty cool, huh? :2
What use at all would we have for teleporting the surrounding 6 blocks to the end? Where would they end up? How would that work if chunks aren't loaded in the end? Would it be consumed on use?
This is just wayyyyyyyy too vague, and seemingly useless for me to support, sorry.

"This is not very useful. We can already move blocks with our inventories by breaking it and putting it in the inventory."
Okay, and in a way minecarts are not very useful because we can move our person from one point in space to another by combined presses of the WASD keys ... surely, what you posted was not meant to be taken as a real "critique?" -__-
"What use at all would we have for teleporting the surrounding 6 blocks to the end? Where would they end up? How would that work if chunks aren't loaded in the end? Would it be consumed on use?"
Well -__- ... I'll consider various balancing mechanics that could deter such questions as you may have; yet -__- ill have to reflect on them before i commit to anything further -__-
Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "suggestion" wrong use of quotations, if anything it should go around the word "epic"
...I'm sure you've all heard of "enderpearls" - the legendary and coveted enderman drop that is tied to the realm beyond our "Overworld" ... able to teleport the user with a simple "flick of the wrist" so to say -__- yes, they're kind of essential to the game so most people should know about them
Well... imagine if we combined this piece of knowledge with another , as science often does... this will be a discovery that will marvel and improve gameplay in all regards - trust me, it would be unwise not to -__- it's actually wiser not to, since this idea isn't good
Using the inherent properties of the "slimeball" I believe we should be able to combine multiple enderpearls into a "cube" ((similar to how combining multiple slimeballs will result in a "slimecube")) :2 ... combining these 2 properties will yield what we are after ... the "SLIME ENDERCUBE" This is truly an epic item - trust me -__-

First of all this name is stupid. Second of all what the heck is a "minecraftitiy"? And third, why do I want one block taken to a different dimension? I can just carry more blocks to the end, and if I did teleport it then wouldn't it just end up somewhere I'll never find it? :2 :1 :3 :7 :0 :4
Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "suggestion" Ooh goodie! It's been a while, I need to have another good laugh XDDDD
...I'm sure you've all heard of "enderpearls" - the legendary and coveted enderman drop that is tied to the realm beyond our "Overworld" ... able to teleport the user with a simple "flick of the wrist" so to say -__- YES I HAS HEARD OF SLENDERPEARLS! YES YES! THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS. They actually happen to be the best food item in minecraft. In all seriousness, I kind of miss laughing at your crypticness. Oh yes, enderpearls are so coveted. So coveted that i have chests full of them. "Flick of the wrist'? WAIT? ARE YOU SAYING THAT MINECRAFT ADDED A NICE THROW ANIMATION??? Crypticness ftw! Seriously, if I didn't know any better, I could actually get mislead like that by your crypticness. It's quite amusing actually.
Well... imagine if we combined this piece of knowledge with another , as science often does... this will be a discovery that will marvel and improve gameplay in all regards - trust me, it would be unwise not to -__- Wait, it's possible to combine knowledge? Never would have guessed! A discovery that makes us marvel? Legit example of how I would discover this item if it was added:
Changelog:
-Added Slime Endercube
Hardest information to discover award 2016
Using the inherent properties of the "slimeball" I believe we should be able to combine multiple enderpearls into a "cube" ((similar to how combining multiple slimeballs will result in a "slimecube")) :2 ... combining these 2 properties will yield what we are after ... the "SLIME ENDERCUBE" This is truly an epic item - trust me -__- First of all, it's called a "Slime Block". So if Mojang ever ACTUALLY added your item it would be the "Slime Ender Block". The famous "trust me" line. It used to be we couldn't trust you because you were new. Now we can't trust you because we got to know you.
Epic name huh? I could come up with a better name in 2 seconds. Seriously, put more thought into your names. First of all, what is the point of using slime if it doesnt do anything slime releated????? Second, teleporting blocks would be a very unused feature. A better feature would be something like teleporting whoever comes in contact with it to a nearby random location, as a trap block. Or maybe two could be linked and you could teleport between the two easily. All you have to do is put a little time into thinking up your ideas to actually make them good. Though I probably sound very harsh and used a lot of sarcasm in this reply, me and everyone else who replies to you are just trying to help you learn how to actually contribute good ideas to the community.

"First of all this name is stupid"
The greatest strength will usually be found where others expect weakness :2
"Second of all what the heck is a "minecraftitiy"?"
A Minecraftite is the denonym for a player of Mojang's popular sandbox game, "Minecraft" similar to how a member of a semitic tribe is a "semite", a player of Minecraft is a "Minecraftite" -__- ... it should be obvious...
"and if I did teleport it then wouldn't it just end up somewhere I'll never find it?"
Yes... that is the point of the item... -__- I really do not think there is much room in this thread for you to post if you're not even going to read the "Original Post" (OP) of my thread and make an informed comment :2 so Ill ask this once and only once so please take heed - leave or stay... but preferably leave, although either is your god-given right...
"I could come up with a better name in 2 seconds."
Yet you didn't -__- ...clever... or rather "not so clever" X[)
"what is the point of using slime if it doesnt do anything slime releated?"
The slime is an adhesive used to connect enderpearls together... I thought it was obvious, perhaps only to someone of my intellectual caliber -__-
"First of all this name is stupid" oh you reposted this?
The greatest strength will usually be found where others expect weakness :2 thats not an excuse, that's just you trying to sound smart without having anything to back up your argument.
Already explained this above, nobody uses this term, it's not obvious.
How is this the point of the item? Nothing in the original post says anything about it, is there any particular reason for it?
"I could come up with a better name in 2 seconds."
Yet you didn't -__- ...clever... or rather "not so clever" X[) Enderport, but then again you didn't come up with a new name either, not so clever
"what is the point of using slime if it doesnt do anything slime releated?"
The slime is an adhesive used to connect enderpearls together... I thought it was obvious, perhaps only to someone of my intellectual caliber -__- I can out iron ingots together without slime balls, along with almost every other ore or materiall, also why did you still insult him? Your using different words in a different context, sure but it's stil the same insult
So... transporting only six blocks to somewhere in the End that I could potentially never find? Why? What's the point? It's not like I can't just bring blocks to the end. Unless the point is that we're trying to dispose of them? In that case, why not just throw them into lava or fire?

"thats not an excuse, that's just you trying to sound smart without having anything to back up your argument."
I am smart, you know this :2 ... the excerpt I was replying to was not an argument("this name is stupid"), so I did not need to debate your unfounded claim -__-
"Already explained this above, nobody uses this term, it's not obvious."
Holy cow, this is so trite -__- ... the context in which "minecraftites" is used should make the sense of the word obvious even if you're not familiar with the referent -__- ... for example, if you heard the phrase, "I paid Bartin 1,000 Bartickles for his genius advice" you should be able to tell that the word 'Bartickle' refers to some type of currency :2 ...sheesh
"Enderport,"
First of all, this name is stupid X[)
"but then again you didn't come up with a new name either, not so clever"
I don't have to, I think the name I came up with is fine - if not - the best possible name for my epic "suggestion"
"I can out iron ingots together without slime balls, along with almost every other ore or materiall, also why did you still insult him? Your using different words sure but it's stil the same insult."
While I disagree with Mojang's current method of combining 9 of a unique item into a "block", I can at least conceive of ways that it would hypothetically work "in-game" (the iron/gold block is a 3x3x3 cube of iron/gold ingots stacked upon eachother, redstone dust might be clay-like in the sense that it is malleable and can therefore be formed into a cube shape, etc ... things like the diamond block are impossible and only exist for their "quality of life" type function) I can not conceive of a way for enderpearls, with their spherical shape -__-, to come together without the assistance of some type of adhesive :2
"thats not an excuse, that's just you trying to sound smart without having anything to back up your argument."
I am smart, you know this :2 ... the excerpt I was replying to was not an argument("this name is stupid"), so I did not need to debate your unfounded claim -__- your smart? I would've never guessed since you never learn from criticisms, or make intelligent, well thought out suggestions. Also it is an argument since that means to disagree with another.
"Already explained this above, nobody uses this term, it's not obvious."

"Enderport,"
First of all, this name is stupid X[) you tried to use cruel irony, but I have reasoning for the name, 1 it sounds similar to ender pearl, 2 it can mean a port which is a place where stuff is transferred, in this case to the end, a port to the end, and 3 it also means ender teleport.
"but then again you didn't come up with a new name either, not so clever"
I don't have to, I think the name I came up with is fine - if not - the best possible name for my epic "suggestion" obviously not since nobody except you likes the name. And it's not an "epic" suggestion, since once again it has no support.
"I can out iron ingots together without slime balls, along with almost every other ore or materiall, also why did you still insult him? Your using different words sure but it's stil the same insult."

The only way I could see this being useful is if we could use the block as a private portal into the End, with placement being on par with how nether portals work. Essentially, you could prebuild your platform the way you wished and then ship it over. It would require more than just the 6 adjacent blocks, though.
Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "suggestion"
I was really, really praying I wouldn't see that again upon entering this thread.
I guess when you keep saying over and over how your idea would be foolish to not implement, I just have to take you """seriously""". I don't know if I can even pick this apart because I don't understand the true reason of this. You actually had my interest with the cube itself, but it just goes to The End and that's it?
For now, I'm gonna have to give a very epicly epic epic no support -__-

"Also it is an argument since that means to disagree with another."
No, that is merely a disagreement -__- to "have" an argument is to point out some logical flaw in another person's statement... what you have when you say "your name is stupid" is not an argument, what you have here is an "opinion" :2 ... please learn this distinction before you make a debacle of yourself in my thread again -__-
"looked up minecraftites and minecraftities and nothing came up, looked up minecrafters and got results"
ugh -__- ... there are plenty of words you wont find when "looking up" but whose meaning can be gleamed under the context that they are given -__- ... that was the purpose of my "bartickle" example ... to ignore this is an embarrassing level of disingenuity...
"still, even with adhesive it wouldnt turn into a cube"
the adhesive could be used like a "mortar" to fill the gaps and attain the desired cube shape -__-
"The only way I could see this being useful is if we could use the block as a private portal into the End"
Hmm... -__- if it were to have this function then it should perhaps use "endstone" as an ingredient as a proxy way of detecting if the user has reached the end yet... otherwise there would be no use in searching through the end portal via "eyes of endermen" :2
Regardless -__- thanks for the feedback
"I was really, really praying I wouldn't see that again upon entering this thread."
Tough luck, kiddo -__- I'm one of the most famous and well-liked members of this community so you'll be seeing lots of me.. get used to it X[)
"Why do you use the "-__-""
It is integral to my personal lore -__-
"This suggestion serves little to no purpose."
The purpose is clearly outlined in the "opening post" (OP) of my thread -__- ... quit trying to deceive future readers, do you yearn for the serpent's tongue?
"Also it is an argument since that means to disagree with another."
No, that is merely a disagreement -__- to "have" an argument is to point out some logical flaw in another person's statement... what you have when you say "your name is stupid" is not an argument, what you have here is an "opinion" :2 ... please learn this distinction before you make a debacle of yourself in my thread again -__- the definition of argument is "an exchange of opposite or diverging views" and the only person making a debacle of themselves here is you.
"looked up minecraftites and minecraftities and nothing came up, looked up minecrafters and got results"
ugh -__- ... there are plenty of words you wont find when "looking up" but whose meaning can be gleamed under the context that they are given -__- ... that was the purpose of my "bartickle" example ... to ignore this is an embarrassing level of disingenuity... actually you will find every word, except for made up words, like yours, when you look them up.
"still, even with adhesive it wouldnt turn into a cube"
the adhesive could be used like a "mortar" to fill the gaps and attain the desired cube shape -__- you would visibly see the adhesive then
"This suggestion serves little to no purpose."
The purpose is clearly outlined in the "opening post" (OP) of my thread -__- ... quit trying to deceive future readers, do you yearn for the serpent's tongue? He means that there's no purpose for this suggestion when we can already do this but much more efficiently
So. Uhm. I guess my main question is: Can you transport chests? That could make this significantly more useful.
I think this might have been addressed already, but is there a way to determine the other side of the teleportation?
Can you use this for any other place aside from End to Overworld and back? For example, to another place in the Overworld, or to the Nether? This could make it very useful as well, especially combined with the chest transportation.
Those are my main questions.
Also, to the side, I'm kinda curious on why you use the -__- all the time, and why you put it where you do? As in, I've seen where you said its integral to your personal lore, but how did it get there? When did it start, and why? How do you choose the places to put it? Is it just randomly put in there, or do you think through where to put it?

No support for original poster idea. Littering the End with random blocks ain't my cup of tea.
A more useful alternative (IMHO):
(Note: I tried to follow Mojang's presestablished design style as much as possible)
Enderport block
Block Type: Opaque, Solid, Full, Non-Falling.
Recipe: 8 Ender Pearls around 1 Obsidian block = 1 Enderport block. Obsidian simply because it's the base material for Ender Chest.
Appearance: Base obsidian texture, with ender pearl showing in middle of each side. Simple texture to make.
Drops: Drops only 1 Obsidian + 1-4 Ender Pearls. Using Silk Touch it drops itself instead.
Block Data values: No special bits needed.
Effect:
- Player right-clicks a side of Enderport block.
- Closest other Enderport block is found up to 24 blocks away on the other side of the clicked Enderport block (loading appropriate unloaded chunk if needed), searching for first Enderport block in a straight line, ignoring all other intervening blocks. If no other Enderport block is found, then the Enderport block that was right-clicked will also count as the "destination" Enderport block.
- If there is valid Air space on "far" side of the destination Enderport block, then the player is teleported there, and both the clicked Enderport block's clicked side, plus the player, emit normal "Ender Pearl used" teleportation particles. Valid Air Space is an Air block then another second Air block checking first right below then right above. Note that no Ender Pearl is consumed, but the player still takes damage as if he used an Ender Pearl. If no valid Air Space is found at the destination, then attempt is a "failure" and the clicked Enderport block's clicked side briefly emits gray particles and nothing else special happens.
Uses:
- Teleport player to other side of a wall or some distance away.
- As an Enderport can allow teleportation in potentially 6 different directions according to side right-clicked, mapmakers could make cool special mazes with this block.
- By proper placement of pairs of Enderports, and proper items to reduce the teleportation damage, repeated right-clicking can lead to extremely fast travel.
Note: the 24 blocks distance could be different, but was chosen small enough to avoid overall overpoweredness, yet big enough to allow some interesting stuff to still be built between a pair of Enderports.
No support for original poster idea. Littering the End with random blocks ain't my cup of tea.

This is an idea that has potential. I'm interested in it, but it'd be rude to sort through it in a thread not about it. Instead, I'd like to say, Bartin? Take a look at this and note why it works as a suggestion:
Function is useful and efficient.
Function is relatively balanced and suggester justifies that balance.
Clear explanation of use and what it would look like, lacks fluff or other distracting words, phrases, and symbols (no matter how cool, intelligent-sounding, or expressive of individuality they are).
Potential for complex and varied discussion due to the lack of mystery. No need to question the lack of anything, it's all there.
Not attempting to explain things with non-sequiturs, lore, or unnecessary build-up.

I guess when you keep saying over and over how your idea would be foolish to not implement, I just have to take you """seriously""". I don't know if I can even pick this apart because I don't understand the true reason of this. You actually had my interest with the cube itself, but it just goes to The End and that's it?
For now, I'm gonna have to give a very epicly epic epic no support -__-
Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
Unofficial Suggestions Guide (2.0) - by Theriasis
Unofficial Critics Guide - by yoshi9048
I pretty much agree with all the other critic's arguments.
And... Why do you use the "-__-" emote so much? And what is ":2" supposed to mean?
asdf
If you like threads about mobs, then my threads are mainly about that: http://www.minecraftforum.net/members/AGmantheAG/threads
So.

Everyone else said it better than I ever could, why would we waste Enderpearls on this when we can carry HUGE amounts of blocks in the inventory?
I will add this, I had no clue what to expect going in, and I expected a "ender slime block" to teleport you.
NO SUPPORT
This is an idea that has potential. I'm interested in it, but it'd be rude to sort through it in a thread not about it. Instead, I'd like to say, Bartin? Take a look at this and note why it works as a suggestion:

Probably something that would've been better conveyed in private, Chameleon. Public shaming isn't going to make you many friends.
